Love the fidget factor with the balisong prybar. May have to pick one up!
Thank you so much for showing us! Good summary and examples of functions.
Refreshingly different, but not sure how resilient it will be for the reason you noted regarding the swivels and the praying action.
I'm wondering what jacket you're wearing!!?! Looks warm!!
Thanks for ALL your videos!
Thanks. The jacket is a prototype Mountain Hardware fleece. It's an old one I wear in the cold shop.
I feel like lot of these tools are almost gimmick tools and while they have there place ( a very small place) I just don't see a price vs. function on the job site . All the tools i have are for production. And not novelty tools. However I am a tool maniac and don't have a problem throwing money at tools if there gonna produce. And not just sit there after the novelty where's off.
Great review as always, thank you! But... no knife - no party.
I’m not tungsten-obsessed. Make it out of stainless steel and halve the price and I’d buy one.
agreed, kinda silly
I hate tungsten for EDC items, too. It’s so heavy!
Good thing it's not made out of tungsten... then it would be brittle and super heavy
Excellent video! Thank you for sharing. As it so happens I've been looking to order my first EDC pry bar. Lately I've gotten into butterfly knives so this turned out to be a perfect little Discovery for me.
Only thing that's missing in my opinion is a pocket clip. But I think I can look past that since it looks so damn nice.
Could you please post a picture of what the package of the pry bar looks like?
It's cool, but I'm pretty sure it's a rebrand at a mark-up rather than an Olight original.
Any ideas about legality in states where bladed balisongs are not allowed. Just wondering because of that slightly sharpened corner
Probably depends on the LEO. If you whip it out in a bar to open a bottle, it might draw some attention. But if you use it to open a paint can while working on that bar's renovation, nobody would care. I take that back. Everyone would want one!
Nice tool
Someone said your jacket looked warm... I'm glad we only saw the cuff. That's one ugly sweater (my guess)...it looks like it was cut from a 1960s bed spread. Tool looks a little silly too, but I never understood guys wanting to carry a bag of tiny tools around.
The jacket is a prototype Mountain Hardware fleece design. I am not sure it ever went into production. Perhaps your observation is why.
@lastbesttool thanks for taking my comments they way they were intended. I really don't have a problem with your jacket. I'm just being a smart ass. I'm a regular viewer.
Neat fidgety thing. Titanium is cool and all, but who the heck actually purchases this thing and uses it? I’ve never in my life needed to spontaneously pull a nail in my personal, not-at-work time on earth. And if I was at work and needed to pull a nail, or drive a screw, or cut something open, I surely wouldn’t reach for this thing. I think it’s just a novelty for most. And the EDC community eats this useless, high priced stuff up. My EDC is a good knife and a flashlight. Simple and actually effective in the real world.
This is overpriced and I already have enough used titanium to melt it down and make a sword
😂
Is it just me that wasn’t impressed? Pass.
Not sure prybar and butterfly is a great combination. Surely they could have made it something that wouldn't put so much strain on the action.
The butterfly comb them have makes sense, but prybar? nah.
