Eddie died way too soon, to this day I feel so odd referring to him in the past tense.
Not only was he in his 30’s, but he was at the top of his career.
Physically he wasn’t as quick as he used to be or as agile (he was pushing 40), but just like Steve Austin he was able to adapt his style, nothing looked like it was sloppy, and the heel stuff he did in 2005 was like opening a new door.
With the stuff Jericho did with the suit/tie and big words, it makes me wonder what could have been of Eddie.
Even now with Dom, Eddie could side with Dom, and be his manager.
There are di many what if’s.
This is also true for Bray Wyatt, and I feel the day way with “what if”.
But I’m thinking selfish, his peers lost a friend, Vickie lost her husband and his kids had to grow up without a father, his career to them comes 2nd.
