If she really did want him to not be like other boys and remain her son forever, she should've continued his well-rounded lifestyle and allowed him to hang out with both guys and girls without causing them to end things with him by having him dress as a girl for his birthday party. Toni's family were even worse, thanks to their strict views of the world. Denise isn't much better. She knew he wanted to be a man rather than a woman. Yet, she never bothered to help train him out of his feminine actions and whatnot. Still, it seems like Paul/Priscilla is no longer adversely affected by Gender Dysphoria and has internally accepted that he's a she. At least, he/she won't end up committing suicide like some going through Gender Dysphoria end up doing.
