They were ok but a bit small for the price. If my burger wouldn’t have been overcooked it would have been really good. Thanks for traveling along with us and being part of our traveling family.
Not a place I would visit, but your video is a winner as usual. Michelle, you are totally right about sharing a table. When we were down last, we shared a lunch table outside at the Boardwalk with an older couple who had the best stories. They were wandering around with their food and we asked them to join us.

When it first opened it was fantastic. Since then it has been downhill. It’s just to pricey for what you get. Agree if you got space share the space you never know who you may meet. We hope you had a great weekend and have a wonderful week.

If I’m honest I can’t even remember ever seeing this place at Disney springs,not sure if I’d go there as there are a lot of other options at Disney Springs. Thanks for the review guys great video as always. Love “pack your patience “ such a great phrase

I just missed the onion soup burger last year. I was so excited when you said it was back until February 28th, cause I will be there!
It was definitely tasty but a little small for the price. We may go back to try it again just to see if it will be different. We hope you have a fantastic trip. Thank you so much for traveling along with us.

I love the delightful banter between the two of you. It always makes me laugh and smile. I agree with Michelle. For that amount of money, I expected a much bigger burger as well as a bigger portion of fries. I have seen you eat far better burgers at other restaurants on the Disney properties. I cannot wait to see what delicious cookie flavors will be coming out next week as well as the chocolates. Take good care of yourselves and enjoy your weekend.

I got the classic bacon cheeseburger from there when we were there last month, in my opinion it was a very good burger. I love burgers. We shared a large fries which were very good. We sat outside under the heat lamps, because like you said it’s a very small restaurant not a lot of indoor seating. And we saw how people are going crazy over that Stanley Starbucks cup lol.
Bobby I will agree, my burger would have been really good if it weren’t overcooked. I was surprised at the size of Michelle’s burger and the serving size of fries. We will definitely give it another try since it was so busy the night we went. Thanks so much for traveling along with us.

Wow, that portion of fries looks about 1/2 of what they normally were. They used to come in a big box. The burger portion also went down once they switch to smash-style patties
Hi @Dreamingofmainstreet ! I thought they were smaller than the last time. They were somewhat cold too as they came to the table. We did get a beeper and it was delivered to the table. I wondered if that makes it slower and would it be faster if we just picked it up at the window ourselves. We will have to go back and maybe test that! Thanks for traveling around with us! - Michelle
The 1921 sauce ties to the “Disney story” for Disney Springs, according to article I found. Sinclair family established a restaurant in 1921 on the site of what is now D-Luxe Burger.
Ya we kind of figured that. I wish Disney would have tied the story more to eat it was instead of a whole new story. Thanks for traveling along with us and being part of our traveling family.
Never been to Deluxe Burger, but I agree, I think a bit pricey for just a burger! We do like Blaze Pizza and would like to try Chicken Guys, especially since you can get a combo meal.

Ya for value meal’s Chicken Guy and Blaze Pizza can’t be beat. Michelle has worked really hard at the rebranding and settling it apart from Traveling. Thanks for sharing your time and traveling along with us.
I want to love D-Luxe (this one looks great) plus the price / value is very poor but with Boathouse burgers and the inconsistency we had here at D-luxe , Boathouse will always be our top burger. thanks M&T. Have a great weekend J&P

D-Lux is so hot and cold for us. Past couple of trips it just wasn’t good. But we will continue to go back because we just love that whole area. Hope your week is going great and everyone is excited for your return trip.

Michelle's looked like a slider. And both looked dry. I went to McDonald's tonight as they have Buy a Big Mac $5.
19 and get one more for $1.00. I asked Please make them fresh and put on extra sauce. They were delicious for $6.99. Also I thought you would go to Salt and Straw for ice cream dessert. My favorite spot in Disney Sp. To watch is Polite Pig. Also where was the place you guys went outside of Disney and they had special burger fries and coke for 8.99? It was an Irish Pub and for dessert you had sticky toffee pudding with Michelle saying they had the best caramel sauce ever. Great value there. Looking forward to new merch. Bobbi
It was ok but they definitely could improve in the presentation and size for sure. We love a great Big Mac for sure. Polite pig is definitely one of our favorite locations at Springs. We went to D-Luxe on our first trip in 2018 and loved it, but we were on the dining plan so it was a great use of a QS credit. I don't think I'd go back because they really paired down their menu and most of the specialty burgers that made the price worth it are gone. Honestly the Jameson BBQ Burger over at Cookes of Dublin is better than any D-Luxe burger I've had and yes it's $16, but comes with fries.
Hi Lindsey! Yes, I agree with you. I know they are supposed to be "deluxe" but you would think they would include the fries, especially the fries they serve. Nothing fancy just fries. We had a burger and fries at Gator Dockside after this and it was delicious and only 14.99. You would think with Disney's volume the price could be less. Thanks so much for traveling around with us! The burger flavors sound delicious...but don't look as tasty. What does the 1921 sauce taste like? Hoping Michelle got to stop at Salt and Straw! Off topic, but if Michelle had to rate ice cream, what order would she put the following: Salt and Straw, Ghirardelli's, Ice Cream Plaza, and Beaches and Cream. I am partial to Beaches and Cream, but have not tried Salt and Straw yet.
They were tasty but just not cooked properly or presented well. Unfortunately no salt and straw this night it was a little to cold and very crowded. Salt and Straw would rank number one for us. Beaches would probably be second because of the atmosphere and the oversized Sundays. It’s been a while since we had Ghirardelli’s so might have to revisit. We have had it twice and the first time was horrible tasted like pure salt and we tried again recently and it was dry meat and too salty again and just not worth giving it a third try. We had a better burger at wolf gang puck and house of blues. Going to try one at Summer House on the 18th heard it was good.

How does D-lux burger compare to the bacon cheeseburger at Contempo cafe?
Honestly two different burgers. D-luxe uses a blended patty and cooked more like a smash burger type. The Bacon Blue was pretty tasty just a little overcooked. The burger at Contemporary is a pretty good quick service burger. Thanks for traveling along with us.

I can’t believe how much smaller their burgers have gotten. I’m sure they’re still delicious, but look so much smaller.

Good burger but not good enough to pay $15 or more for it. You pay more and get less.
Agree. We remember when they first opened they were fantastic. Sadly that is the way of the world today, pay more get less. Hope you guys are doing great.

D Luxe burger is HORRIBLE. Don't waste your money or stomach space. I given them 3 tries over the years and was given dry and cold burgers each time. It is as if they cook them all up ahead of time and just keep them under the heat lamp.

It has never been our favorite but still think it’s worth a try if you haven’t had it before. My burger wasn’t bad just overcooked a little. It is pricey we think for what you get, but might be a great value for the upcoming dining plan. Thanks for traveling along.
I am not sure about Horrible but definitely isn’t our favorite. I will have to say ours were made fresh as I watched them cooking them but they were definitely over cooked. Just not a smash burger fan.
@@TravelingAroundDisney Personally, I would normally agree with you about trying something. After all, I gave them 3 tries over the years and every single time the burgers where overdone and cold. Couple that with hearing the same thing from many, many, many other people, I think that it is fair to stop promoting them and sending them business until they get better.
They are too expensive and there are too many other good places to eat that it is not worth wasting your money or stomach space on something that poorly done.
I think it is best to actually let Disney know about the poor quality so that they can address it.
I have tried D Luxe burger 3 different times over the years and every single time the food was garbage. The burgers clearly sat under the heating lamps for a long time because they were cold and hard as a hockey puck, each time. Then when I sent it back to get a new one, then the fries they sent back out where cold. They don't care at that location. Clearly by seeing so many other comments, this place just sucks. And how disgusting is it that they don't have anywhere to wash your hands before you eat. You have to actually leave the building and go across the way to the restroom. Disgusting.
It is definitely a location that has had its ups and downs. When they first opened they were fantastic. Now not so much. I will have to say they were very busy this night and the burgers weren’t sitting long. Thanks for traveling along with us.
