Sure wish I could express what this meant to me. I am now a shut-in--no longer able to get out of the house and go any where. Back in the late 1980's, I worked on 2nd Avenue North. I lived in Nashville for 2 years, then moved just north of there. I became totally disabled in 2012 and soon after, gave up driving. I live with a daughter and her family, but they are very busy, so I stay out of the way. I have so wanted to go back to Nashville and just drive through to see all the changes: your video granted my wish. Thank you so very much!

I knew most of the streets you were on but not all so I really appreciated the fact that you told the name of each street as you turned onto it. I also was glad to get a good look at the Gulch because that is one area of town that I have not had occasion to visit and so it was pretty much all new to me. I think I have driven through the Gulch a grand total of two times in all the years since it has been there and obviously, like all of Nashville, it is constantly changing because of all the new construction going on. I'm an old lady (when I was a kid, dinosaurs were still roaming the earth) and I am almost totally disabled and it is very difficult for me to get out of my house, so this video was extra special to me. Thank you so much for providing a relaxing way to spend an hour or so while staying snugly in my little house!

Video captures the growing problem in Nashville.. utilities should be buried.. allowing pedestrians to safely utilize sidewalks as intended, protect utilities from weather, completely transform visual appearance of neighborhood .. upgrade all lighting to LED for safety, savings, & security .. increase street drainage capacity & direct flow with proper curbing .. UPGRADE NASHVILLE’s BONES
Um, bury ? I think simple pole designs with wires is fine . I can’t be the only one that finds cleaned simply stuff to be homey . That said, The style I give Nashville is of a grand open massive mall. It’s great but like regular malls crime and property need to be dealt with at manageable levels . The moment crime goes beyond the causal pick pocket to knife and fighting people will no longer walk .
just approach downtown!! roads are god awful beyond belief! and is so embarrassing because of the funds that are available to fix them! totally disgusting
What is funny is those California people that have moved will be going from trying to keep grass alive to now trying to keep the grass from growing out of control . They will soon learn that grass is one determine vegetation determine to survive at all costs lol
