Talent in players like Messi is definitely better but it is confined to a small part of the game.
But Xavi.. ohh, him playing is like defining what football (as a whole) is.
I don't think what he does on the pitch is just about winning the game, it's more than that.
As if a spirit of a visionary painter, baroque composer or a philosopher possessed a footballer body.
i cant remember the last time xavi gave a bad pass or lost possesion of the ball. its a truely amazing player.

Excellent job, Sjurinho. Excellent. But you could have dedicated more time to Xavi's pass to Daniel that led to Pedro's goal against Inter. It was my favourite pass in the whole season. Apart from that, the comp is perfect.

Those two skills together create Xavi - the best midfielder in the history of football

Great video (even though I despise dance music. Maybe try some classic music to go with his brilliance?). This is what football is about, the control, the passing and the movement. Simple, yet genius.
He makes these passes look so effortless.
In the 08/09 season, Xavi had a total of 40 assists. That is just ridiculously good.

Lo que pasa es que antes, Xavi era un jugador de compañia, es decir, era un jugador en el que te apollabas en el centro del campo si te veias presionado, pero ahora es un jugador que crea juego, que da el ultimo pase, y que entre una nube de piernas ve un pase claro de gol
