I have fond memories playing Atari. I got Atari for Christmas in 1980. I played E.T. and Pac-Man and didn’t care how awful they were.

I grew up playing *Atari 2600* games, (as well as *Commodore 64* games while ours lasted). I liked the older games having a "child's mode".

Finally, someone delves into the fascinating story behind Atari's downfall! This video provided some much-needed clarity on a topic that's often shrouded in mystery. Great job uncovering the truth!❤

Guy is a dud. And Atari is very big. Own, rights to nearly everything. Stocks very strong.

Barely played Atari growing up, but do have some memories here and there of playing the 2600. Bought the Atari 50th Anniversary game, and really loved all the extra content they put into that release. Had a chance to learn alot about Atari and play many games from it's history. Apparently in the documentary they do bring up that drugs, most likely cannabis contributed to the developer's creative process while creating games.

This was a great video and I hope I see more on the video game genre. A couple things I would have liked to see though. At one point it talks about at least for me, the Atari VCS and 2600 as if they were separate entities. Could have just been how I heard it though.
I was surprised the Atari ST was brought up but nothing about the 400 or 800 computers or the 5200 console which was why the vcs was changed to 2600. Must have been time constraints because then the 7800 and XEGS consoles were skipped over too. No one ever talks about the XEGS lol. A missed opportunity.
All in all a couple things I learned like bill gates working for Atari and being a procrastinator lol. Good video and I hope I get to see more from you 😊

After the crash Nintendo gave us more Story driven games where we can immerse ourselves with campaign mode, Atari for the most part didn't and continued to give us Arcade games with the endless waves. No innovation, no creativity. Hopefully they have learnt from their mistakes.

This video talks about the most known facts and lore about Atari but doesn't add much new and doesn't really digs. BTW, the 2014 excavation is BS. If the urban legend had been true they would have found tens if not hundreds of thousands of E.T. cartridges - not the few they found.
