Hi Giampaolo, I’m considering buying the le prism could you confirm the exact power supply I would need as I can’t find a clear answer anywhere. I’ve assumed it’s 5.5mm x 2.1mm centre negative min 500ma.

    Hey Giampaolo

Hi... yes it is possible... Le Prism is designed to be used also with keyboards... by adjusting the input signal.
On the Cicognani website you can find the user manual... on page 14 there are all possible connections.
      Here is the link

Can this pedal do everything the Pompeii can do? I am thinking of replacing my Volante

Yes... Le Prism can do everything Pompeii does... and more... and in "stereo"

@@GiampaoloNoto The differences seem to be the stereo effect on Le Prism and that Le Prism costs more. What more can Le Prism do that the Pompeii cannot?
Somebody should tell Cicognani to add an entry on his News page. You shouldn't be able to visit his website without discovering this new product. I went on the website and missed entirely that he had a new Binson Echo product. Someone who was selling me an older model Binson effect just happened to mention Le Prism (after the purchase was made). It sounds like Le Prism is just a stereo version of the Pompeii 603. Thanks.

Le Prism and Pompeii share the same construction concept... they are both excellent echoes.
Le Prism has a "stereo" output (a very particular and unique stereo mode) and has the possibility of selecting any combination of heads and feedback (4+4)... while Pompeii has "fixed" combinations... like on the Binson.
But then again, they're both great echoes... I have them both!

@@GiampaoloNoto Grazie mille! It looks like the Pompeii and Le Prism can be seen as recreations of the P.E. 603 (1967) and a stereo version of the P.E. 603-T (1969), respectively, where the latter was available in 1970.
UPDATE: The plain P.E. 603 has a rotary knob with 12 selections/12 multi-head combinations (as did the P.E. 603-TE) and no way to select repeats/feedback on heads that were not selected for an initial single echo (playback), compared to the 603 variants (603-T, 603-TU, 603-Stereo), which had selectable multiple repeats/feedback for each head and had buttons for single echo (playback) and for multiple repeats (feedback) that allow 15 multi-head combinations (adding three new combinations: Heads 1 & 4, Heads 1 & 2 & 4, and also Heads 1 & 2 & 3 & 4, which could not be done on versions the versions with a rotary selector).
Stereo effect is pretty intuitive and easy to assess whether it matters. I'm not at all sure how much of a difference it makes to be able to change the feedback on each head, or whether the three additional combinations are that useful. Yours is the only demo of Le Prism, and while there are demos of other devices with both of these features, such as the Volante, the original P.E. 603-T, and so on, it is still difficult to see whether or how much of a difference that makes. Thank you so much for your demo and for your replies on this topic!
