With everything going on right now I applied pretty late to Abington and didn’t get the chance to visit anything more than the outside of the dorms and campus... and I’ve already accepted my admissions. Your videos have been super helpful for getting insight on what life will look like so thank you so much!!

I went to Penn State Abington in the early to mid 90s (was there during the transition from Penn State - Ogontz to Penn State - Abington). 30 seconds into the video im like "when the heck did they put dorms in??" And then a minute later Im like "she cant be a REAL college student because you actually have food in your fridge!" Nice video. I miss that place. Wish I had a chance to do it all over again.

I go to university park right now, but I’m serialism considering transferring to Abington. They have my degree to a tee there (not at UP) and it is smaller which doesn’t make it feel as overwhelming as UP does. This is still in the possibility stages but I really appreciate your UA-cam video!

ik Penn State University Park is a really big party school, does Abington have a lot of parties too or nah?
Abington does host a lot of fun events on campus where you can meet friends and other people which are fun as well. Though I imagine the scenery compared to UPark would be different.
When I was a student at Penn State Abington, it was basically a commuter school...nobody lived on campus, they just drove or took a bus because they lived nearby...and because of that there was no party scene. In my honest opinion (and of course your point of view depends on the type of person you are), but the lack of party scene was a good thing. It allows you to focus more on your studies. There are too many distractions at University Park that a 17-18 year old may not be able to handle..its a big transition going from high school straight to University Park. Makes you grow up real fast...too fast in my opinion.
