This movie was inspired by the real-life situation of Antoinette Frank. Frank was a New Orleans cop who befriended 18-year old Rogers LaCaze, and the two robbed the Kim Ahn Vietnamese restaraunt where they killed Frank’s former patrol partner and the 2 teenage siblings of the restaraunt owners. Frank was sent to death row; LaCaze was on death row but it was recently changed to a life sentence.
@@creoleDJ They did mention the bones but it was kinda pointless right now giving the fact that the woman her character is based on never disclosed whether or not the bones were her fathers.
@@qdiesl That whole thing was one of many cases involving the NOPD; they were so bad off at that time that the DOJ almost took them over. Several NOP(ig)D members are in jail, another on death row, for various crimes...
