- Hi everyone! I absolutely loved putting this one together for you. I've been absolutely obsessed with the new Wednesday show on Netflix and I knew I had to learn the Paint it Black cello rendition on violin! It was really hard but so much fun to do, I actually spent a couple hours on a live stream learning it live with you guys and we had the best time!

I just finished watching the show, and I gotta say anyone who plays an instrument that good should be recognized
electric violin dont take that much skill as the real one does
That doesn’t mean it’s not impressive, learning any instrument is extremely difficult
playing an electric thing is not hard and this shit is not even a violin.... btw just look at her terrible bowing...
@@jessicavelasquez7035 Really?, Ok frets is cheating, but most electric violins don’t have frets. There are differences between how an acoustic and electric react, but there are differences between how different acoustics react anyway.

I hate it when people say natural talent because even if it is natural talent they have put in so much effort to learn and dedicated themselves even though it’s meant as a compliment it can be found as a insult.
I want to add that not only was your playing amazing you brought something else to this... your body language and facial expressions were definitely into this lol great job

@@chrisfarah5396 i couldn't imagine leaving this comment unless i was either so unbelievably musically proficient that anything less than superhumanly perfect seemed inadequate to me or if i was simply talking from a place of outright ignorance. which are you? either way, such an unnecessary thing to post on someone's video.
the dexterity required to navigate 7 strings on such a small instrument ALONE demonstrates a high level of skill. this is a classically-trained, professional musician if there ever has been one, and this was a beautiful performance! the amp helps but tone is still requires technique.

i was trying to say that whether or not you like the performance this is someone who has trained as a career musician in high level conservatories and people pay to watch them play. just dismissing their skill is silly, esp. if you're not going to give any actual material criticisms as to why you think a performance was poorly done
That was fantastic! First time I watched Wednesday, I didn't recognize Paint it Black. I watched it a second time, this time with my wife, and in the interim, learned that's what it was, and recognized it. I should have known, as one of my 4 first albums in 1969 was Aftermath by the Rolling Stones, which Paint it Black is on. Love your playing!

I've loved electric atrings since the 90's and am thrilled they are taking off!
It's not just any electric violin, hers goes lower than a cello, and I believe has 7 strings!
This girl is amazing. She is starting to write original music. I'd keep an eye on her career.
I just saw Mia x Ally on the viral hits tour, did not disappoint. Besides her amazing talent, she seems kind, hardworking, easy to work with, and very likable. Her playing at the end of 3 straight hours (and running around the stage too) was every note as good as the first.
I watched a reaction video of a cellist who tried to play this. She said it was impossible for one person to play.
Thanks for doing the impossible, and doing it beautifully.

i am not a rolling stones fan, in fact i don't like them all that much, but i do love this song.
I think the primary reason i do not like them was due my first introduction being their country-ish songs. Its the same reason i don't like Kiss, my first introduction was rock and roll all roll all night (And party every day) Which is literally the entire song, repeated. I was listening waiting for a chorus, bridge, you know anything that makes it a song.

Excellent playing! That electric violin is very interesting as well with a kind of a flying V base and seven strings instead of the usual four. And you have the strings laid opposite to the way they are on a violin. The black color is distinctive as well.
