Hey is this model good and grinding well ? I have a 2 litre elgi grind + gold which is good . 1350 RPM motor , I want a extra small size grinder with equal motor power . The LG website shows this model having same RPM motor Does this grind fast ?
Timing depends upon the quantity of dal and rice used. For this capacity drum you may use 1/2 cup of dal + 2 cups of rice for idly batter. Dal gets ground in 7 to 10 minutes. Rice takes 12 to 15 minutes. Hence total of 25 minutes. Same time is needed for big models too. After 4, to 5 years depinding upon your usage, the timing may get longer..upto 30 to 35 minutes. Elgi serves well for 10 years.
I dont know about the rpm. You can definitely go for this model ( with timer or not) for a small size. This is 1.25L as u know.. the next is 2L. So you have only this option for a smaller size.
I have no complaints. Its the smallest drum model and is meant for making small quantities of batters. Ultra Grind is the best model.in market. You would have chosen 2L.or 2.5 Ulltra bigg+ model to grind larger quantities.

What is the maximum quantity of soaked rice in KILOS can be grinded at a TIME in a 2 LITRE capacity table top wet grinder for idly batter

Logically the max is 1 kg unsoaked rice in a,2L grinder.
You may just do a trial, soaking 50 gms of rice, weigh after soaking and calculate for 1 kg.

1 tumbler urad dal. 4 tumblers rice. Grind separately.
Please don't buy this. Its not properly grinding rice. we are just using 800 - 820 gm rice maximum only. very poor performance. not worth the money.
