    Thanks! This was a very carefully documented and tidy mod, that I'm sure works very good, giving you more control of antenna orientation.
    I'm wondering if you have considered or tried to use 2.4ghz circular polarized antennas with this mod, or maybe one dipole 5dbi with one 3-5 dbi cloverleaf antenna. I guess we would need to test with similary circular polarized antenna on aircraft. It is difficult to find 2.4ghz circularly polarized antennas, but I sure would like to see the results of this test. What about using a helical or yagi antenna connected to one of your SMA adapters for very long range applications?
    I am ordering new long 5dbi dipole antennas to do this mode on my FS-i6x Tx too. Good job! - Jim

      If You have connector than You can test some antennas like directional, but that would limit it to one direction

    • @Adrian202
      @Adrian202  2 місяці тому

      Sadly, that will depend on how good antennas are and how they are aligned with the model receiver.
      With drones, it's hard because they move so specifically angled antenna will not work.

  • @kadyo_diy

    You can use a 2.4ghz amplifier and use only 1 antenna please try it bro

    • @Adrian202
      @Adrian202  2 роки тому

      Yes, until You keep it in the same position, for drones 2 antennas are better because if drone change orientation than second antenna take over.

      You can use any antenna from 2.4GHz WIFI

    Hey, I'm assuming that you used the same 6dbi antenna on both the sma ports. Wouldn't it be better to have one 6dbi (or higher) and the other one 3dbi ( or lower)?

    • @Adrian202
      @Adrian202  5 років тому +2

      As far as I understand transmitter switch antennas when lose signal on one of theme.
      Mounting on antena weaker will force using that bigger so that will also work but not as good.
      Depending on model and how antena on receiver is set it's good to not set both antennas in same orientation because always one antena will have connection if model will rotate :)

      You can change antennas like I did and that will allow You to set a better angle.
      There are also directional antennas, but you will not be able to fly around You.
      The Last option is signal booster or extenders, but I think that's expensive
