RED JEWEL CICHLID BREEDING :
1. Tank setup: Prepare a separate breeding tank with plenty of plants, hiding spots, and a gentle filtration system. The tank should be at least 10 gallons in size to provide enough space for the adult fish and growing fry.
2. Conditioning the fish: Feed the adult platies a varied diet of high-quality foods to ensure they are in optimal breeding condition. A diet rich in protein will help promote healthy breeding behavior.
3. Introducing the male and female: Place one male platy fish with two or three female platies in the breeding tank. The male will actively chase the females, and mating will occur when the female is ready.
