  • Bertram Becher improvises on diatonic harmonica, accompanied by John Schaman, harmonicaMD, who lays down the rhythm and chord pattern using the diatonic chord harmonica (also known as the harmonicaMD medical harmonica - www.harmonicaMD.com).
This harmonica plays 8 chords, F, F7, C, C7, G, G7, D, & D7, and is hand-made for harmonicaMD by the craftsmen at Seydel, the oldest harmonica manufacturer in the world (first starting harmonica manufacture in 1847). It is made of the absolutely best materials, including stainless steel reeds. It was designed to allow non-players to learn quickly, sound musical, and provide the designed lung challenge required for pulmonary benefit. Bertram plays along without rehearsal or preparation whatsoever!
