Seems that the further north you are the more hostile they are.. Alaska bigfoots will literally twist your head off and eat you but NorCal they are relatively peaceful. .different types i guess.

Sam Houston is a National Forest, not National Park. But yes, much of the east and southeast of Texas have a very "squatchy" feel to them. I'll leave it at that.
