- This video is one of the first in-depth documentations of the Kalachakra Teachings and Initiations by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. In the summer of 2000, His Holiness the Dalai Lama journeyed to the monastery in Spiti, located high in the Himalayas near the Tibetan border, to impart the complete Kalachakra to thousands of followers.
The Kalachakra initiation has been transmitted from generation to generation, and His Holiness received the initiations and teachings on the creation and completion stages from his Vajra Teacher, Kyabje Ling Dorje Chang-the Ninety-seventh Patriarch to Tsong Kha Pa’s Throne. Additionally, he received the transmission of the Commentary to the Root Tantra from Serkhong Tukse Rinpoche.

So uplifting and inspirational! I just wished the narrator articulated rather than mumbled many of the informations. It would be nice if narrator wasn't using whispery tone as well. These teachings are ancient and really could be a solution to many problems we're facing in the world today! May all narrators of these kind of teachings show passion in their voice and speech.

I know this is a random comment, but I've always found the skin tone of Tibetans to be very beautiful. it's not as light as their counterpart Han Chinese and it's not as dark as Indian. It's almost like a blend of the two. Very nice.

I am from India. Some of the people made this teaching as business in the name of dark room retreat. It's not affordable to people like me. Can you anyway make it affordable for me to learn this kala Tanta meditation. I feel it a person's bath right to gather knowledge and wisdom. Please help me to achieve it🙏🙏🙏
Those Initiations should rather be Distance Attunment´s through the Naga Spirits rather than just such a visit of the Holiness Dalai Lama.
