It is true material things ie Dunya will never make you satisfied and happy. It is the food for the soul that brings satisfaction ie ibaadat. May Allah help us by reminding us to remember to worship Him wholeheartedly. Sheikh may Allah bless you and all your offsprings
When this talk first came out, I thought he must be writing a Sirah book, not just thinking in his head. Today, 6 months later, its announced finally and I came back to watch this. I am sure it'll be in the book In Shaa Allah. Ordered and waiting for delivery when it releases In Shaa Allah.
Assalamu'alaykum, Shaykh. I would like to know if we hold the opinion that our Prophet (SAW) didn't read or write, how do we understand the second interpretation of 'iqra' (read instead of recite) in that light? Surely, we're not saying our Prophet (SAW) was the first to disobey the command of the Quran, right? So I'd like to know what did our ulama say.
Interesting question but how did the prophet (peace be upon him) disobeyed Allah if he couldn't read & write? That was the norm of arabs in his time in particular before Islam came to them
Arabs were one of the most educated people, many mathematical and scientific findings originated from the Arabian Peninsula. According to history, Prophet Muhammad was a business man who was very intelligent. Not only was he literate, would God choose an illiterate man to deliver a Book? The Quran says no, the Hadith says yes
Can some one please refer me to the authentic source narrating the story of firs revelation in cave hira. I really need to know who narrated this story in the beginning and what was the source of it. Did anyone from wife or close companions of prophets Muhammad PBUH narrated it? Thanks and JazakAllah

Iqra means both : read and recite. So dont distract the people with your cheap tricks.
