Does the judge actually think in 2024 these “kids” do not know the consequences of having and using a gun.
Kids are dumb! They are easily influenced, that's why it's easier to groom a child than an adult. They see videos portraying jail as fun and inmates with phones, tvs, and cellmates having fun.
They obviously understood from being in an actual jail that it's far worse than they imagined.
The judge rather let them go so they can take each other out instead of locking them up

They are blaming the kids when they left the guns in cars on purpose.
They can deny it all they want but unfortunately there's plenty of reasons for teens to have guns..Their peers have no care for human life so I'm sure they do feel the need to have some sort of protection.
