I started my first project pan after watching panning content for about a year and a half! I started back in January and have a few videos on my channel. So far I’ve finished a MAC lipstick that was well loved and a travel size Giorgio Armani foundation. I’ve also hit pan on two highlighters and two eyeshadows.
YAY! New year, new project pan. Happy New Year! I am doing a project rolling 5 pan on my blog as well. I am also giving myself a few "gimmie" products as motivation to keep going on my project pan. I'm actually doing two this year, one exclusively for makeup. I have a hard time using makeup up as I want to savor it and I need to push myself to use my expensive products and stop saving it for "special" events as they just go bad instead which is worse. Good luck on your project! Can't wait to see the update!
I am a very slow panner (and even slower since my baby was born 3 months ago!) I have tried project panning and gotten burned out bc I chose too large of a project-I love this small 5 item project pan! It seems so achievable but also challenging. I think I’ll try this in 2024 also! Good luck to you with your products!
I am doing a 25 pan project pan as I decided to roll in everything all at once and see what happens. My project includes a pan that face palette which is highlight two blushes and a bronzer. So I have mostly makeup but I added 1 mask and a bunch of fragrance too to help my numbers. I also have 6 in my partners in cream which will start in a week so I am really excited about my goals this year. I am sure I will roll in some gimmes at some point and some do different goals to try and help me with success but I am stoked! I think the blush and the eyeliner are going to be such big wins for you!
From these products I’ve finished, romance, fussy and dim light… the ambient lighting powders take a year of use to finish if you use them every single day but for me the hardest was fussy even tho I love it lip products are hard for me
Hi! So for me, hitting pan is mostly reserved for powder products and is when you use enough to see the metal container they are in. Panning in general can mean that, or in the case of this project, completely emptying a product (such as a setting spray or lip gloss). Hope that helps!
I do sometimes! But other times I just get really determined to finish something I started. Also when I work on products I don’t love, I tend to find new and different ways to use them - and sometimes I end up liking something I didn’t think I did!

What is pan and panning in your context?

if youre not enjoying the products anymore why not just get rid of it? genuine question
