The most fun you can have is on a 450 on the street..I just love mine ..makes me smile everytime I ride her ..it’s soo loud and just wants to mono everywhere..enjoy

Man this a nice set up. Dirtbike still looks like a dirtbike but can ride it it on the street.
I literally bought one this week and still need to convert it to road legal. all paper work is done just need to install a headlight unit and rear break and a kick stand. your set up is really nice.

How did you get the paperwork donw
@@danysanchez8767look up the south Dakota loophole. Works in every state I believe. Had to do it for two WR450s in Illinois. Takes about 3 weeks to get the plate and title back in the mail. Then either ride on those plates (eventually cops would likely ticket you for it) or take all that paperwork to your state dmv and switch it. Nothing they can do about it as long as you installed all the required lighting/safety equipment.
You did a great job imo. Still looks like a racing bike but street legal.
Would of been nice if you had a video that showed how you fitted all that stuff.

How’d u get that wire to run so far back. I got my light strip for the taillight and the cord is fairly small
Hey any issues with the stator putting out enough juice for all the lighting? And did you install a radiator fan as well?
@@OdysseyOffroad on my new bike I put a fan on it and all the lights and seems to keep up with it okay, but the 2019 has a larger battery and seemed to last even longer with never needing to charge it

Cleanest conversion I have seen!! How did you mount your front headlights?
I mounted them off of my radiator shrouds, there is a tab on them and i just drilled a hole

As long as you have a bill of sale I think you would be okay and the kits I make are 299.99 wheels run about 1000 normally for a supermoto setup

This is great !! What powers yours? I'm doing a 1998 YZ400F here in Arizona and went with the Tusk lighting kit that has a rechargable battery, but... had to buy a headlight. Bought a Polisport and will change the bulb to LED and try and pull power off the hot side of coil. Comments please?
Sounds like that will work! Cool project bike! Mine is literally hooked straight to the stock lithium battery on my bike since it's got e start and all that
I have the exact same kit, I don’t even know where to plug the headlight switch in. The instructions don’t show it
Do you have taillight setup that could mount the strip light you have on eBay but also attached a license plate?
I do not currently but I'm developing that along with a whole new kit right now

Check on some of my other videos, they might be helpful.. but otherwise honestly the kit is super easy to install if you already have a battery on your bike, I do need to make a better video about it for sure but what can I say work and school keeps me busy
I noticed you placed a link for a license plate light but do not see the lights on your bike in this or your newer video you made. Did you have trouble with those button lamp stick-on lights? Is that why you went with the flashlight next to the exhaust instead?
The button lights stayed on fine but now.i have strayed away from street legal and just gone for straight night riding at the dunes you can see my current setup on my latest video

I want to use this same kit from streetohv on my pit bike. My bike has a battery as well, how easy was the install? I know nothing about wiring or electrical. Did you have to cut or alter any wiring to get it going?

Is there a way you could list all the parts like where you got them I been lookin to do the same and your setup is by far my favorite one
If you watch other videos on the channel and check descriptions you should be able to find links for everything.. however, I would suggest not buying the streetohv harness I've heard he is a mess recently and doesn't ship out anything if you have the ability to make your own harness I would! Or find something that will work

My brake light is t lighting I put it on the front brake as well have no idea..
Are you doing oil changes as often if your not riding as hard on the street as off road?
I still change my oil every 8-10 hours idk bout this guy tho
I know this is the kit from ohv but how did you get those headlight/ halos to work with the kit, I really want the road to be lit up pretty well for me
The kit from street to ohv comes with two connectors for the headlights
The wires are brown and black if i remember correctly

If you are handy with maintenance and can hook up the street legal kit then yes if not then go for something else like a drz or something that's already set up and ready to rip
can you show a better angle/view of how you used the velcro to attach the rear light
I ending up mounting it farther in on the rear fender with some epoxy and that is holding it nicely pretty much in the same spot as the streetohv website
But it's basically just wrapped around the top of the light and then on the underside of the fender

I got it as part of the streetohv kit but they are sold on Amazon as well
Did you need to buy a wiring harness?
Yes i bought one from streetohv.com but i would recommend making your own if you have the know how.. I recently made my own for my wife's bike and it came out way cleaner

I like it! Its stood up to the test of many night rides at the dunes and wheelies on the street haha

Nope I bought the headlights separately..
How did u mount the headlights without drilling through the shroud fender
I drilled through a plastic piece on the inside of the shroud that is on Yamahas for the air box up front
But some bikes have a reinforcement piece in the same location you can use
Where did you find those blinkers
How you managed the wiring on the tail light? I cant get the right combination
Honestly some of the tail lights are wired weird from the factory and you need to hook them up one by one to find out what does what
Where did you get that super clean rear brake light tail light from?
I bought it off Amazon it's just a run of the mill led tailight strip that I hot glued into position

Heidenau tires and I'm not sure on the size but it's pretty close to stock tire size

Nope I bought the rims with the brake rotors and sprockets used for 450 bucks and then bought tires separately
@@Dirtscootdesigns did you have to modify your shroud? I have a 2021 CRF250R and I can seem to get a clean fit like yours 😥 I got the same lights off amazon.
@@250slidin3 The yamahas have a little plastic tab right where I mounted them so it made it easy... But I also did the same thing on my dad's husqvarna and I just built a little tab mount out of metal that went onto the bolt that holds the shroud on
