Hello Gillian! I wanted to answer your question about the color-changing slime.
It changes color because thermochromic pigment is added to the slime.
The root word "thermo" or "therm" comes from Greek, and it means heat. As you touch the slime, the heat of your hands can change the color. It started out as blue because no heat was applied. Eventually, the slime will turn back to blue if no heat is applied to it.
