So Ron was in an abusive household and one day after a horrible argument between his mom and dad, his dad snapped and killed him, before hiding the body in the closet. The mom found the son in the closest and although not a good mother, still mourned the loss. The other children we see are kids who were also in an abusive family and where they were represents where they were found(kid sitting by fire; body was burnt, kid in the back of the truck; found in the back of the truck, and kid in the hole; buried) Mr red face symbolizes all their abusers/killers, all embodied in one singular entity to help them pretend that the one that killed them wasn’t someone they loved, but some evil monster. This game is hella depressing

I personally think it’s kind of odd how no one is mentioning what the doll says when Ron tries to open the closet the first time. He says “oh, you can’t open it *still*” as if to imply that ron has been dead for a while and blocked it out of his consciousness. Leading to him forgetting he had tried before.
This game hits home for me. Especially the fact that Ron doesn’t even connect the dots that it was his father who killed him at first. He wants to believe that it was a monster and his dad is innocent; it’s sad for kids when they see someone they know and love become a “red faced” monster with alcohol. These children deserved so much better.

here is a short explanation of this game!! so there’s a child named ron, he lived in an extremely abusive household (his father is mr red face). one day after an argument between his mom and his dad, his dad choke him to death and broke his neck, his dad hid his dead body in a closet then a day later after the accident.. his mom found him dead with one of his eyeballs ripped out . the mom was shocked to hear him (ron) like this. at the end, they were 3 other children that were dead, (a boy that got thrown to a bonfire, a girl who was buried alive, and another girl that was trapped in a car trunk till she died. (mr red face means that they are abusers and/or killers, all embodied in 1 person who kills someone they don’t like/love even though the person they killed cares/loves them)
The other kids also died, the one by the fire was killed in a fire, the one in the back of the car was kidnapped, and the one coming out of the hole was buried alive. I love this game's message about all of the tradgedies that happen to children. 😢
The doll was trying to show Ron the truth with subtle clues. Here are a few 1. the dolls snapped neck or dislodged represented, Ron’s snapped/dislodged neck after his dad k*lled 2. The doll drank 3 times while hitting the table which was what the dad did before he k*lled Ron 3. The doll being raised in the air was what happened to Ron as the his dad held him up by his neck

I always had problems growing up i was diagnosed with heart problems i was always sick and needed attention, and it didn't help that my dad was a soldier that rarely came home and my mother didn't care for me (almost like she was forced to). the only person i could call family in my life was my big brother, he was the one that did everything for me. And he was the one that introduced me to your channel when he first did i was almost obsessed with this channel, I've been watching you for almost 10 years. I just wanted to tell you thank you so much for being a big part in my life, you may not know it but you may be doing alot for someone by a simple action
The reason they call him Mr.Redface is bc when you drink too much alcohol, your face gets red. So it wasn't a mask or anything. It was the dad who's face was red from being drunk.
I think the reason that there's a doll in the game is because to mourn with the loss of her child, the mom made a doll and acts as if it's Ron. This doll could also be the conscious of Ron, helping him solve his own murder and realize his dad was a terrible person. Edit: This game is truly sad, after connecting the dots and watching Ron die, I sobbed for about 10 minutes...

This is what I understand and deduce: - The doll’s neck was loose: it symbolizes the son’s neck when he was killed by his father. - Mr red face is just the son’s imagination. When his father drunk, his face turned red and usually abused the son, so that was the reason why the son was so scared of mr red face. - The card from the mom’s pocket is actually the magical card that can kill mr red face. Again, the son just imagined everything. By the card, the son could find the motel where his father was, he imagined that he was going to kill mr red face by using it. I think one of the many sad parts of this game was realizing the mum had the potential to be a good parent. Unlike Ron's father, she cared for him (the food, sitting by his bedside, etc) You could tell it was simply their situation that was causing her to neglect Ron emotionally. I think if they both weren't being abused by Bruce she might have been home more. Either way, the complex story line and characters was brilliant and horrible at the same time.
I think the mom was trying to date or marry another guy so she could escape the abusive father, she was trying to take Ron with her as well so he could live a happier life. However, because the mom left at that moment during the argument and didn't take Ron with her, that led to Ron's death. I feel like if the mom took Ron with her, he would have survived...

In the Vietnamese mythology it is believed that spirts can be seen during the nighttime and since the mom only comes home late at night thats why it took her ao long to find the body because she went looking in the morning cause she knew something was wrong
oh my thats so sad. and so im guessing she actually kept the promise and stayed off work that day but that was the day she found him and thats why she was “taken away” because when the parents get “taken away” its actually them greiving/mourning the loss of their kids (except for the father bc he was just scared of dead ron) but wow this game is so crazy

The fact that the doll said "it's just a small flaw compared to the other dolls (children like Ron)" means that the other kids have been through worse things than Ron did. The reason why you can't see one of the kids eyes like Lauren said means that kid was abused so much that he went blind. The fact that there are actually parents like Ron's dad makes me disappointed.

at the ennd of the game, you can tell how each kid was hid or was "oofed". The child in the fireplace: most likely burnt alive. the child in the hole: buried alive/hidden underground. the child in the car: kidnapped/car crash the son: stuffed in the closet for the mother to find. i think all of the kids where ab4sed, told mr. red face was going to give them presesnts, then "oofed". its nice they were all together after their tragedies.
I don't think it's so much how they died as much as how they were hidden/disposed of. Cause the main kid died from getting beaten/having his neck snapped, but he's in the closet because that's where he was hidden. The others were: disposed of by fire, buried in a ditch, and left in the trunk of a car to rot 😢😢 I feel like the other Bad Parenting games might be about the other kids, which is a one way ticket to more heartbreak 😭

Even if some parts are inspired by Coraline(not sure if they are for sure) it still likely wouldn’t be grounds for a lawsuit I don’t think. Not a winnable one anyways.
the lore is that when you go through the portal in the parent's closet, the kids that come out of the fire dyed from the fire, the kid that came from the dirt hole got buried alive and died, and the kid that came out of the van got kidnapped and was held hostage till he dyed from dehydration and hunger.

For the other kids one was buried, one was set on fire, and the other was left in the trunk (while we don’t know the backstories, it may not be SA, but it could just be a very young kid in a diaper since sometimes parents just leave kids in diapers)

this is genuinely heartbreaking, i’m also surprised how lauren found out about everything that fast! about the haunting, the creator is from vietnam and there’s a saying where they can see the dead at night that’s why the mom couldn’t realize he was dead and how the dad could see him( that’s also how the mom found out he’s dead cause she stayed at home for her son so she found out during the morning), but the mom is schizophrenic that’s why she mentioned pills. i really do hope that lauren knows that she’s helped so many people that have gone through this type of abuse. Growing up home life was hard and days would be insufferable, but the one thing that kept a light was being able to watch people like lauren in hopes that one day things would get better. And things did because never stopped hoping. Even after all this years i still get comfort.
you notice how when the dad is choking Ron, the light represent his heartbeat. it starts slow, and gets faster for lack of air, and then it makes one final flash, before the light fades out.

I thank you for not showing whatever happened to the child that was so bad you said you wouldn't show it. That PROBABLY would have freaked me out. As it is though the story makes me angry and sad but having dealt with such situations frankly I'm happy he was haunting his father without knowing it. It's really hard when you're a child with an abusive parent because you don't understand how wrong it is that they are doing these things. You might hate whatever they do that's abusive but you still love that parent. So I totally get the child not wanting him to be taken away. Then knowing that those poor other kids had similar situations. I don't know that much about you, Lauren, except what you put in your videos but I am certain you are a great mom and thank you for loving and caring for your children.

The kid in the truck got run over by the car because of their parents, the girls parents pushed her in a hole leaving her to die and last last kid was burned alive by his parents. Basically kids who were murdered by their parents.
What bothers and saddens me the most is that at the end, when Ron is with the other kids, they form a half circle and look at the camera. That empty half of the circle is the space left for more kids who end up with a mr RedFace in their lives

I think the reason that there's a doll in the game is because to mourn with the loss of her child, the mom made a doll and acts as if it's Ron. This doll could also be the conscious of Ron, helping him solve his own murder and realize his dad was a terrible person.
Edit: This game is truly sad, after connecting the dots and watching Ron die, I sobbed for about 10 minutes...

I’m Vietnamese and I’m very proud of this game since it was made by Vietnamese too. This is what I understand and deduce:
- The doll’s neck was loose: it symbolizes the son’s neck when he was killed by his father.
- Mr red face is just the son’s imagination. When his father drunk, his face turned red and usually abused the son, so that was the reason why the son was so scared of mr red face.
- The card from the mom’s pocket is actually the magical card that can kill mr red face. Again, the son just imagined everything. By the card, the son could find the motel where his father was, he imagined that he was going to kill mr red face by using it.

I think one of the many sad parts of this game was realizing the mum had the potential to be a good parent. Unlike Ron's father, she cared for him (the food, sitting by his bedside, etc) You could tell it was simply their situation that was causing her to neglect Ron emotionally. I think if they both weren't being abused by Bruce she might have been home more. Either way, the complex story line and characters was brilliant and horrible at the same time.
I think the mom was trying to date or marry another guy so she could escape the abusive father, she was trying to take Ron with her as well so he could live a happier life. However, because the mom left at that moment during the argument and didn't take Ron with her, that led to Ron's death. I feel like if the mom took Ron with her, he would have survived...

i think all of the kids where ab4sed, told mr. red face was going to give them presesnts, then "oofed". its nice they were all together after their tragedies.
I don't think it's so much how they died as much as how they were hidden/disposed of. Cause the main kid died from getting beaten/having his neck snapped, but he's in the closet because that's where he was hidden.
The others were: disposed of by fire, buried in a ditch, and left in the trunk of a car to rot 😢😢
I feel like the other Bad Parenting games might be about the other kids, which is a one way ticket to more heartbreak 😭

the lore is that when you go through the portal in the parent's closet, the kids that come out of the fire dyed from the fire, the kid that came from the dirt hole got buried alive and died, and the kid that came out of the van got kidnapped and was held hostage till he dyed from dehydration and hunger.

For the other kids one was buried, one was set on fire, and the other was left in the trunk (while we don’t know the backstories, it may not be SA, but it could just be a very young kid in a diaper since sometimes parents just leave kids in diapers)

for all the peeps that are confused about 24:38 , this game was originally made in Vietnam, and the creator is Viatnemese, and one of Vietnams beliefs is that you could see ghosts/souls in the night, and the day the mom found ron dead was in the morning, when you cant see souls :(
i really do hope that lauren knows that she’s helped so many people that have gone through this type of abuse. Growing up home life was hard and days would be insufferable, but the one thing that kept a light was being able to watch people like lauren in hopes that one day things would get better. And things did because never stopped hoping. Even after all this years i still get comfort.
you notice how when the dad is choking Ron, the light represent his heartbeat. it starts slow, and gets faster for lack of air, and then it makes one final flash, before the light fades out.

I thank you for not showing whatever happened to the child that was so bad you said you wouldn't show it. That PROBABLY would have freaked me out. As it is though the story makes me angry and sad but having dealt with such situations frankly I'm happy he was haunting his father without knowing it. It's really hard when you're a child with an abusive parent because you don't understand how wrong it is that they are doing these things. You might hate whatever they do that's abusive but you still love that parent. So I totally get the child not wanting him to be taken away. Then knowing that those poor other kids had similar situations. I don't know that much about you, Lauren, except what you put in your videos but I am certain you are a great mom and thank you for loving and caring for your children.

The kid in the truck got run over by the car because of their parents, the girls parents pushed her in a hole leaving her to die and last last kid was burned alive by his parents. Basically kids who were murdered by their parents.
moral of the story, if lauren herself gives you a serious warning, listen to her😭😭
What bothers and saddens me the most is that at the end, when Ron is with the other kids, they form a half circle and look at the camera. That empty half of the circle is the space left for more kids who end up with a mr RedFace in their lives
