Maryjan, a fellow female black traveler, has also ventured to Afghanistan on multiple occasions. Regarding the incident involving your friend, I highly doubt the Taliban member intended to shoot him in public; it was likely meant as intimidation. The restriction on filming females is primarily cultural and personal, rooted in Afghan societal norms that prioritize privacy and uphold the honor of women. In Afghan culture, disrespecting a woman is seen as disrespecting her entire family, and it's expected that her male relatives or even members of the community would step in to defend her honor if necessary.
African Tigress has been in Haiti for more than 2 weeks showing the beautiful country and people living their normal daily lives! She is now in a beautiful part of Port Au Prince!
This is one of the longest interviews videos I think you have ever put on UA-cam. It was quite interesting and informative. I watched the whole thing and I think it was enlightening. It seems like you both were in awe of each other. Anyway, a great video. Thank you for what you do.
Yes. Great interview! Living here, I am pleased that persons are touring Jamaica and showcasing authentic culture and life. The BBC, with Clive Myrie, recently spent a few weeks in Jamaica and have just released their documentary in the UK - awesome.
THROP started this podcast in Jamaica that was popular in America but I had never seen anyone doing it in Jamaica from watching UA-cam videos, but now so many follow his example. THROP is number one. This British man is not only handsome but intelligent and adventurous, just continue to be safe.
I admire the courage of this guy. I would nevertheless suggest that for the sake of his family he gets a significant life insurance coverage( not wishing this brothe anything r but great success) He is an inspiration to me as an African to travel the world. One love.
Such a interesting young fellow, watched the entire episode, thanks for giving some light on Jamaica, everyone needs to know that all around the world there's the good bad and the ugly, good luck to you and family and next endeavors.
Wow!!! Awesome synergy between the two of you. Great interview. I was on the edge of my seat through it all. Thanks to the both of you for speaking positively about 🇯🇲 land that we love, this solidified my goal to come home more often and to invest in my home land.
Amir aka BDT is a legend in his own authentic way ,he breaks all stereotypes and boundaries created by the western media. He takes us not only through his journey but through beautiful pieces of history. Always humble and showcases both worlds in a country if there is. I love that he always focuses on the realist places not just the tourists areas. All the best BDT keep em coming brother from 🇿🇦
I'm surprised to hear that Afghanistan and Pakistan didn't recognize black people because Americans fight wars all the time with these countries and so many black soldiers are there. I love the British accent and I'm glad that he kept it real like we would say here in America. Normally when I see the British people lately they are sounding like America changing their dialect to the American style but I love this man he's real. Great one THROP😁
The American were not walking in the cities. Most of them were either in the armored vehicles or military bases. Ordinary Afghans , especially in the villages did not meet any American soldiers.
@51:30 Maryjane Byarm is actually the first black youtuber that I have known to have gone to Afghanistan. Maybe she was influenced by the traveller here.
You havent been watching his channel. You don't know what you are talking about. What he's saying here is the way Jamaica was in the 1980s to now. Things were terrible in Jamaica back then. You wouldn't know because you were either not born or a baby.
Yow, Throp encourages JAMAICANS IN THE DIASPORA TO IGNORE NEGATIVE REPORTS SO THEY CAN RETURN HOME TO BUILD UP JAMAICA. Please do your DUE DILIGENCE & RESEARCH before yuh open yuh mout & post!😊 Watch a few of this channel's videos bcs it is PURE POSITIVITY!
@@DrJoniC But even with that, I’m confused because Blackman has been showing the best of Jamaica and trying to change the narrative. I’ve watched his whole Jamaica series so far and see no bad content
@Throp Pakistan is NOT in the Middle East. It is part of South Asia west of the country of India. The British colonizers help expand the rift between Other Indians - clans and tribes. Also, some of the Indians decended from those same indians in that region who came to Jamaica in the 1800s post Emancipation from Slavery in 1838. Respect this guy's courage; however, the use of the guttural and raw Jamaican expletive(s)/curse-bad word(s) is unbecoming, and disgusting. Because other people are doing it, your own self-respect and "broughtupcy" should chip in where you refrain from "jumping off the bridge because everyone is doing it." There is a fineline between informative and tasteful AND disgusting, and disrespectful content.
That is the difference with the so called developed countries where people are terrible and want to kill someone who did nothing to them. Then they have the nerve to say bad things about people who never did one ten of what they did. Take for instant Jamaicans don't think about hurting other people especially those who have done nothing to them. Barbarism is a cultural thing. Jamaicans grew up loving their neighbors and being kind to each other. A moral people who believe right is right and wrong is wrong. I believe that is why God have being holding that country in his hands and it is because the majority has God in their hearts. He kept that Island safe from earthquakes and storms. God is good.
big up Yourself bro was great to be on your platform
It was a pleasure having you on man. Until next time

Pakistan does have a African community go check his Pakistan vlogs.
Afghanistan didn't give their citizenship to foreigners that is why no black and white are there.
