I think its too late for this game honestly. I played ironman from release to about 2020. Didnt interact with MTX but all the dailies and FOMO content was enough to leave a sour taste in my mouth and I didn't even have access to TH garbage. Game is and has been in a bad spot nothing was fun to do anymore and I don't think i'd return.
uhm i wouldnt say it is rushed. you might have trouble understanding just how many levels of micro or macro transactions are currently in the game. they need to be able to adress all of those things differently. having said that. they should remove all of it :)
Me too! I was about to be pissed if they removed the hero pass glad they only got rid of the MtX and not the content... if they get rid of TH then we loose xp stars, proteins, and so many tokens.
I wish they would just delete all mtx (except bonds), focus on good updates and good marketing and watch the playerbase slowly grow. Its gonna be a significant dip in revenue short term, but long term it will keep the game alive so much longer and might even end up making more money eventually. Problem is that jagex keeps getting bought by large companies that are trying to flip jagex for a profit rather than investing in the long term. They try to quickly increase revenue short term through mtx so they can use their financial statements to convince the next buyers that jagex is doing very good so they can sell jagex for a profit. But I hope they watched osrs succes and started to realize they should adopt a similar approach for rs3. I really liked your point about not milking the player base would result in more passionate players and more creativity. 100% if players are more satisfied that's also gonna lead to more exciting and creative content creation by youtubers and streamers which is just free marketing for jagex.

No dont remove content! Just get rid of the MTX and let us get keys as drops, from skilling, clues,MG, o bossing, and slaying.
The survey was rushed.
I think we will get another one.
TH needs to go.
120 to all skills is coming and they don't want players to lamp it.
