Well not all Nigerians were that educated with country names probably. I read about it on an article about the history and how Indomie made its way to the Nigerian markets and how the word ‘Indomie’ literally replaced the word ‘noodles’ in Nigeria

Indomie also reached my country just a year ago i think 2013 or more but before 2018 or 19 it was my go to snack and it was the cheapest instant noodles but the cup noodle is little bit expenisve but its less than a dollar (my country: iraq instant noodle cost: 250 iqd or 0.17 cent cup noodle cost: 750 iqd or 0.51cents)
