Mixed Media Collage in my Art Journal & NEW STAMPS

🌞 I'm creating a spread today in my cheap sketchpad from Action using handmade collage papers together with our brand new stamps. I am glueing the papers down intuitively and add different mark makings on top with stamps. My focal image is also one of the new images embossed with white powder on black cardstock. love your collage papers. They're really interesting, colourfull and great to use in collages. Love seeing the process and how you connect the papers in the collage. I really should be making my own collage paper more than store bought ones, it creates such an unique feel to a page.

Love the collage papers! Do you ever use gesso first to prevent the wrinkling/buckling?

No I only use gesso when I need it as a base form some kind of paint. I believe this paper would buckle even more with gesso, than without.
