This was the last concert I attended before the Pandemic shut everything down. Great memories!
Saw Keyon Harrold in Seattle last week....smokin....his band was right there with him. Inspirational jazz, fresh.
I can't thank you enough for uploading these videos. Really inspiring to see these modern day giants as a kid from Italy.
by the way what do you record with? sounds always great
Thank you for this
I love Herbie so much ! He has done so much to make sure the next generation engages with jazz in authentic grass roots way. (Not sure why the trumpet wasn't really matching Herbie's vibe harmonically though, like Roy did on that brecker hancock record)
sonicgasmic: sound that has the potential to cause the listener to experience a sonicgasm
Thank you for posting!!! 🙏
My pleasure. :) Feel free to browse all my vids... I have a bunch more of Herbie in small venues like this.

@@joaluar Any good Argentinian jazz acts I should look out for? We got our share of Brazilian artists touring up here last year through a series called Jazz Is Dead but I haven't seen any from Argentina I don't think.
4:44 POR DIOS HERBIE TE AMO
OMG
I WAS AT THIS SHOW
christian almost gave me a heart attack at 3:26
This unit reminds me of some of the great units of the early to mid 60s in jazz. They ain’t playin.
U ROCK FOR POSTING THIS
My pleasure! I have a couple others posted from this night too. Search my videos for Herbie Hancock and they should pop up.
Also Chris and DHodge holding it down!
Omg man y’all don’t even know the moment we realized Robert had his own distinctive sound herbie duplicated it. It wasn’t as complete as robert but it was enough to let him know if herbie wanted to, he could
This was right before enslavement!!!
What is the name of this Herbie Hancock tune? Grammy winner Keyon Harrold on horn-- the one whose son was attacked over a cell phone in NY.
When I read about that incident and that he was a Grammy winning jazz musician I though hmm let me see if he’s played with anyone I know and here he is with HERBIE HANCOCK and ROBERT GLASPER lmao
I think they're playing Butterfly
nice been hangin onto to this one since Jan?
lol yep didn't even realize i hadn't uploaded this yet. I was just planning on putting up my thundercat vids and was like oh for real?
@@strokesoco sounds familiar glad you found it
is it Aron The Bassist in the back ?!
Hahaha yessss! Good eye
What song they playing @ 4:00?
Butterfly by Herbie :)
Love The Music The Musician but the crowd is full of mobiles and that suck
I know but on the flip side, I also had my mobile up and I was able to capture this incredible moment for anyone around the world who'd like to see it, so....
ハンコック(O型)のせいでクリスチャンスコットtp(O型)も参加している先輩には 仕方のないことか❓,,,,❓,,,,
gotta say lupe ruined this, hand waving was just inappropriate and cheesy
I love Lupe but you're right. Reminds me that I saw him at Solidays in summer 2010, he was a special guest N.E.R.D.'s set, rapped his verse from "Everyone Nose Remix" then spent the whole time on stage throwing opened bottles of water at the crowd.
Better go see him at his own concert...
Drums needs to chill out.. Stay in the pocket bro!
It’s Chris “Daddy” Dave, I suggest you look him up.
