I agree 100% my wife was attending a Baptist Church before we got together, and then she started going to church with me and she hasn't been back. I couldn't believe what I was seeing a Baptist church with an altar and singing these songs. Every Baptist church in my area (Northeast TN) would not sing gospel songs like these ever. I enjoy all of these videos from Camden and the Dixon's! Of course in my area we have a lot of Non-Denominational churches so I grew up in all the small churches.
They're Independent Baptist. And I agree with you!! Sadly a lot of Baptist churches are going contemporary or dead as a hammer. I am thankful I have a good, shouting, hand raising Independent Baptist Church :)
I am Pentecostal and I didn't know there were still Baptist churches that weren't afraid to shout it out. So glad to see this video and the others and the response to everyone going down to the altar. The Baptist churches around here don't even have altars..
They are almost Pentecostal in the way they respond to this song, which is fine with me. I'm Southern Baptist and I think we need more shouting, hand raising in our churches.
Baptists where I'm from have always shouted and followed God. It is not a Pentecostal or Baptist thing. It is called following the spirit of God. When you follow God's spirit he will run your cup over.
Your music and singing has blessed my heart. I am glad to see Baptist churches like this still around. As a singer who has sang in a lot of baptist churches your worship is something you don't see in everyone of them. However I've been blessed to be in some like yours who still do, and I love being in service with people who are not afraid to raise their hands and scream out THANK YOU JESUS. It's wonderful.
The church I attend is still Southern Baptist, but they are not afraid to let their hair down. I know there is no Southern Baptist anymore, but I don't remember what they changed their name too.
im glad i got a God who can walk on water
This is the best I have heard this song . I can't seem to listen to it enough
