Sorkin is a genius. I have always appreciated the writers more than the dirctors. because thy create every thing in their minds (charecters andn events, dialogue,...everything) and then the directors get more paid and famous..
+Abdul Salam I used to think that way and be adamant about it, but now I know better. You're missing a big part of the picture. This is how you should treat it: a great director can never be great without a great screenwriter, but a great screenwriter also cannot be great without a great director.

Writers are the true auteurs.
Works both ways, if The Social Network was directed by anyone else but David Fincher, it never would have been as successful as it was.
