I love Manjari. But unfortunately she is missing exactly the dard and kashish which is the soul of this song. It's yearning of the lost wanderer whose heart is full of pathos and pain, the pain of loosing someone who had been with the wanderer all this while. It can't be sung like any other song. Listen to original by Lata and by Jagjit versions.
