Unfortunately, the voice actor has since passed away, but that makes for two Admirals who share voices with prominent part 3 characters (Kuzan being voiced by DIO's VA being the other one youve met)
On the other hand, before he passed from this mortal coil, he managed to record himself singing while in character as Kizaru. Look up "Kizaru/Borsalino Yellow Light." It's a nice song.

I remember reading this chapter when it came out. Nothing will probably ever reach this moment. It was so utterly shocking and a real wake up call as to where the Strawhats fit into the world in terms of power. At the time Luffy unveiled Gear Second he said he created it to be able to protect all of his friends from strong people like Aokiji. This moment proved that he vastly overestimated his own power. In the face of a world class power, he couldn't even protect one of his friends.
I thought bubbles popping is only as metaphor of the crew disappearing and giving atmosphere. But now watching this moment I just realised that Kuma was using that bubbles to transport strawhats
@QueenBlaze The Strawhats are still a young rookie crew. You saw what happened when Shanks and old whitebeard clashed with the sky splitting in two. You think Luffy is at THAT level?

"I couldn't even save a single one of my friends..." There's a lot in this silly pirate adventure story that breaks your heart, but Luffy's complete and utter breakdown after losing his whole crew in one of the most one-sided fights in the entire series will always be at the top of the list for me.
This one hits very hard at every rewatch. Luffy always had his crew; he has always gotten out of dire situations with them by his side. So to see them being taken away from him one by one, and him realizing how powerless he is to protect them, is a devastating sight to see.
I won't spoil anything specific, but, as the show already said they're being transported away, I will foreshadow; They're not all somewhere 'safe', but they are all in a place they need to be, for their own good, and, in many cases, the betterment of the place they end up. Big Paw Man knows what he's doing.
8:45 Sentomaru calls Kizaru Uncle in a Mafia type of way, he's not his literal uncle Yakuza often refers to elders as Big Bro, or Uncle etc That's what's going on there
I'm sure you understand by now the bubbles popping represented the straw hats disappearing, but it also parallels how it showed bubbles popping when Rayleigh talked about the Roger pirates disbanding.
This arc gets better the more you see and understand of it. It hurts more sometimes too, but the simplest way to put it is, we weren’t ready. Sorry that it hurts, but you’re never alone in the OP fandom. Most of us banged our heads on the ground with Luffy. Heartbroken. Adventure awaits, ever still.
god and now imagine the poor people who read these chapters when they were just coming out. like...they didnt know NOTHING. that mustve made it 10x worse to experience holy fuck
i say this to damn near every reactor who gets to this point and i will say it with you. before he sees his crew again, monkey D. luffy will experience...............HELL!
Was kuma hurting or helping?, you know I still don't get it. So...the straw hats suffered a complete loss and watching this sucks because it is so heartbreaking, especially since they remind you of all these powerful/sad moments. Oda really knows how to hit you with the emotion. For now...we cry and see what will happen next time. Thanks for the video.
These episodes are so stressful to watch. It's unlike anything else out there. This arc is just the beginning of the most incredible saga in all of media.
"i still don't get it..." but i do, and yes i totally agree with you Queen. having to wait from week to week per episode, i feel sorry for those who waited in fear and anxiety, wanting to know what the hell happened. we are blessed that we do not have to wait as long, first time watching this it shook me to the core, the Straw Hats were utterly stomped! what happens now? where did they go?? DBZ Narrator: "all this and more, on the next exciting episode of Dragon Ball Z!"
That moment was the biggest "OMG" of the history of OP, yeah the strawhats disappeared...and another mystery was born about a certain character yeah...°° NOTE: like Aokiji was inspired from an popular actor: Matsuda Yuzaku, Kizaru are inspired from Kunie Tanaka.
Also, I remember filler-like episodes, but they were cover stories and actually canon with useful information. You can skip the Sanji parts, though. Do a trans bitch a favor and skip the Kamabakka Queendom/Momoiro Island stuff. Or don't, but a warning would be nice.
it's so hard to watch even after the 1000th times 😢! AND NOW IMAGINE years back, when this Episode was the newest one. It was even worse than you imagine, WE had to wait HALF A YEAR for a new Episode, since there was a big break, can you IMAGINE how terrible this was? We had legit no Idea, if this show will continue or not X_x. This half year was the hardest and worst time in my Anime life :(
Just a heads up: DO NOT skip these "fillers"! Unless you don't care what happens to the rest of the crew and you want to follow just Luffy's story. I don't know why you have them listed as fillers, since in reality they are not. In the manga there are cover stories. Before every chapter there's a cover page which is part of a cover story telling the story of a character we already know. Unfortunately the anime has only adapted the first two (up to the point you are right now): Buggy's Crew Adventure Chronicles, and The Diary of CobyMeppo. In the portion of the story you are at right now, the anime adapted the manga cover story "StrawHats' Separation Serial". Meaning: If you want to see what happens to the whole crew, you'd better NOT skip the "fillers".
33:25 Never in my life have i found myself crying from the scene and you crying, and laugh out historically because you're crying and your awesome edits😂! LMAO make sure you get the napkins with the soothing lotion. The 400s finna be rough
- I still don't get it. Oh man... Here we are... I remember watching these for the first time crying and very confused. Hard times for the crew, but you know, sh1t happens. Anyway, I'm gonna cry a little over here, see you next time!!
Been dreading this one. Broken Luffy hurts every time. The admirals are no joke, they are all obscenely powerful. Rayleigh is also obscenely powerful. Thriller Bark _just_ happened, Zoro hasn't recovered yet. He has no business trying to fight at all, never mind against something so strong. Hearing Luffy tell his crew to run is heartbreaking. We've never seen him run from a fight before. And when Chopper goes to Monster Point…that's when it all goes to hell. Still don't get it, huh? Yeah, it's a rough one
you probably ran across this already. those straw dolls are attached to his crewmates souls, so they are essentially taking all of the damage instead of hawking sorta like how kuma absorbed all of luffys damage. & gave it to zor. will delete comment if you figure it out along the way
I watch you regularly...I knew you would be crushed...destroyed like every fan before you got her. I promise..eventually things will get better. I couldn't watch for a couple weeks afterwards. Every real fan man woman or child bawled they're eyes out.

Facts, I guess he was having it to easy in life. Some real stuff just went down and I personally would lose my mind
@QueenBlaze The Strawhats are still a young rookie crew. You saw what happened when Shanks and old whitebeard clashed with the sky splitting in two. You think Luffy is at THAT level?
@@MasterofRoku i meannnnnnn lol
@@Wyzanow spoiler
He definitely wasn't back then. Now is a DIFFERENT story. 😂
Now imagine this... When this episode came out I had not read the Manga so I didn't know what happened to the strawhats. For all we knew they were dead.
WAY TO F WITH YOUR AUDIENCE ODA 😭❤💔
10:58 😂 LMAO why does everyone laugh at that!??? 🤣
Me - ga means my eyes!!! 🤣
18:59 Well here we go DAILY BS NEWS 😂
27:43 UGH
32:42 UUUUUUGGGGGGH DAMIT ODA!!!!! I'm already caught up and I'm still crying😭😭😭😭😡 THAT THREE WEEK VACATION BETTER BE THE BEST DAMN THING EVER
34:19 I really want to give you a hug❤ me too Queen
Seeing this after kuma backstory hits different
I love how when Luffy screamed at Ussop to save Zoro, Ussop immediately dropped his fear and starting shooting kizaru
"Ah shit...here we go again"
This is called hitting a skill wall.
Luffy and crew are now experiencing the true might of the Navy.
Rewatching the events of episodes 404-405 after reading the current chapters is so bittersweet. 😢
"This is a tough one.."
*BINK'S SAKE STARTS PLAYING*
I hope the QueenBlaze is ready, because the wild ride has begun
oh you think this is sad ? just wait till they animate kumas backstoy ........probably the saddest anime backstory ever
Kizaru attacks is almost undodgebale
99% of world will be one tapped by Kizaru
That intro is f*cking insane 😂
"I couldn't even save a single one of my friends..."
There's a lot in this silly pirate adventure story that breaks your heart, but Luffy's complete and utter breakdown after losing his whole crew in one of the most one-sided fights in the entire series will always be at the top of the list for me.
This one hits very hard at every rewatch. Luffy always had his crew; he has always gotten out of dire situations with them by his side. So to see them being taken away from him one by one, and him realizing how powerless he is to protect them, is a devastating sight to see.
RIP strawhats, The reincarnation version are cool though.
Queen in the next arc you cant skip 418-421 it is filler but explains a lot, I cant spoil.
I won't spoil anything specific, but, as the show already said they're being transported away, I will foreshadow; They're not all somewhere 'safe', but they are all in a place they need to be, for their own good, and, in many cases, the betterment of the place they end up. Big Paw Man knows what he's doing.
"If you were to take a trip, where would you like to go?'
Remember this phrase...
Manga readers had to wait 1 month, because serialization stopped after this chapter
It was hard to take
As you can see, the story took a drastic turn. Oda ain't playing around.
8:45
Sentomaru calls Kizaru Uncle in a Mafia type of way, he's not his literal uncle
Yakuza often refers to elders as Big Bro, or Uncle etc
That's what's going on there
I remember I had caught up to the dub at 405, and apparently, they put episodes out in arc sections. I immediately switched to sub after this.
I'm sure you understand by now the bubbles popping represented the straw hats disappearing, but it also parallels how it showed bubbles popping when Rayleigh talked about the Roger pirates disbanding.
I *SO* told you you weren't ready... 😈😈😈
Imagine watching weekly at this point
Well like you said in the intro. We are definitely leaving this Island.
Not saying that st. Charlos didn't deserve that punch to the face, but hachi DID warn then not to do it...
Gearing up to one of the best if not THE best segments of anime in existence. Godspeed.
Top tier editing 😂😂😂
This arc gets better the more you see and understand of it. It hurts more sometimes too, but the simplest way to put it is, we weren’t ready.
Sorry that it hurts, but you’re never alone in the OP fandom. Most of us banged our heads on the ground with Luffy. Heartbroken. Adventure awaits, ever still.
god and now imagine the poor people who read these chapters when they were just coming out. like...they didnt know NOTHING. that mustve made it 10x worse to experience holy fuck
We didn’t have any info for like a month. It was traumatizing, lol
we eat monthly like its nothing after having to wait those 4 weeks. theories were everywhere
Queen if you don't know the guy who voices Kizaru is the same guy who voices Old Joseph Joestar.
Queen: "i guess in this video we leavin' the island."
Joker: "Poor Choice of Words... HA HA!"
Well... that was the end of One Piece, glad you reacted to this series. Any new anime you got in sight?
Marine Admiral Adam Sandler.
i say this to damn near every reactor who gets to this point and i will say it with you.
before he sees his crew again, monkey D. luffy will experience...............HELL!
Do you do your own edits QB? I fucking love your cuts to other shows and movies lol that undertaker cut had me laughing hard
…here we go…
5:55 She knows
we know
😭😢
I wasn't expecting a video so soon.
Glad to have you back again queen ❤
ah shit... here we go again
okay it started💀💀💀
I still don’t get it.
U cry every episode
Kizaru was voiced by unshō ishizuka who also voiced Old Joseph in JJBA. R.I.P Legend.
One Piece: Traumatizing people of all races and creeds since the 1990s! Thanks Oda-san!
Time for the most important side adventure Queen. Prepare your heart.
Those episodes are HEAVY.
Kizaru is byond brutal and there is so much happening.
Information overload, but it will all make sense.
That moment was the biggest "OMG" of the history of OP, yeah the strawhats disappeared...and another mystery was born about a certain character yeah...°°
NOTE: like Aokiji was inspired from an popular actor: Matsuda Yuzaku, Kizaru are inspired from Kunie Tanaka.
405 Absolutely broke me. A helpless Luffy tore me up.
This half year was the hardest and worst time in my Anime life :(
Already another one? You treating us good🤩🥵❤
"i dont wanna cry today" oh boy....oh man....thats unfortunate girl....welp, here we go.
Hawkins power... best explanation without spoiler: think voodoo.
Just a heads up:
DO NOT skip these "fillers"!
If I’m not wrong, wasn’t there a break after this? Could you imagine the prolonged wait after this? Diabolical.
The amount of weird fruits and power scaling introduced here sets up how crazy the new world is gonna be.. get ready
you probably ran across this already. those straw dolls are attached to his crewmates souls, so they are essentially taking all of the damage instead of hawking sorta like how kuma absorbed all of luffys damage.
Luffy: I lost my whole crew this is the worst day of my life. 😭😭
One Piece: you sure about that? 🤨🤨You Sure About That?! 🤨🤨
Oh Queen, it was hard for me to watch it for the first time. It shows how much you love the Strawhats, so we hope to see you soon for the next arc ❤.
Ps: and yes Kizaru voices old Joseph Jostar (OH NO, OH MY GOD!)
