Fully agree on the bars. Good eye ! As for the cams, something to consider is a cam will require that you ride higher in the rpm and these engines like to vibrate more when you do that. So while you do net a few more horsepowers, it might not be worth it if you ride more relaxed and like lower rpm’s.
i think it's quite dependant on which cam you get. some performance cams provide horsepower while in the higher RPMs and some are specifically designed for cruising and more overtaking power. but you are right, it is important to pick the right one for your style of riding
@@NoDollarRider yes indeed. I considered going for lloydz 585 and the tech said it’s best to ride over 3000 rpm. I rode mostly between 2 and 3000 rpm so it wasn’t going to serve my purposes. I ended up getting Indian stage 2 cams. They don’t make as much power but they handle lower rpm’s fine
Do burleigh also make handlebars for the springfield? If so I really could imagine myself trading in my scout for a 21 springfield dh I just couldn't agree with the skinny bars that was my only reason not to get one
those bars that i want have a 1 1/4" clamping area, thats the same clamping size as the stock bars, so it should fit, and ive spoken to the performance shop that mods my bike and they said it'll fit but i would need longer cables as the cables indian gave would be a bit too tight
Good vid
Good stuff… I’m excited to see what it looks like when your done🤙🏿
