Does anyone know the meaning or backstory to the lyrics? To me it sounds like its from the perspective of a soldier who's king goes insane and is blinded by his greed and that will uses his soldiers like slaves to do his bidding to get what he wants and the soldiers are to afraid to step out of line for the fear of punishment of those who don't obey his command. On another note this song and its lyrics are awesome!
Call me insane, but it reminds me of the Diablo story of Lachdanan and Leoric. Leoric, Haunted and twisted by the soul of Diablo, and Lachdanan is faced with the task of deciding whether or not to stand by his king in the hope that he'll return to his self, or to kill Leoric as his madness consumes him.

It's like a carnival came into town and it was run by a bunch of mariachi players and they all took acid and had a Narnia themed carnival and Illenium was there for background music and they all got abducted into outer space only to realize it was just the after-effects of a Kitkat bar you didn't have to share.
I feel ashamed for never having watched Pan's Labyrinth, and yet I still also immediately understood what movie this song was drawing inspiration from. The mild hints of Spanish guitar and the Latina vocalist hint at an old Spain vibe, and the name in itself, Labyrinth, is all i needed to connect the dots. While Greek myth has its own labyrinth, and in a sense, Pan's Labyrinth is inspired by the Labyrinth of Greek myth, only one movie I know of has a Labyrinth set in early to mid 1900's Spain :D God I sound so dumb.
I actually really want to see a Warriors - Hollyleaf and Ivypool MAP for this song, but I can't host one myself. This is also one of Miyoki's best vocal works I've heard from here, and the same goes for Trivecta musically. I always find myself coming back to this and listening to it for hours on end.
No sharp sounds, synth wave in the background, beats don't interrupt the rhythm. This is like real captain crunch, compared to the dollar value version called 'Sea Munch'. THIS is what dubstep should be.
Not sure how many people feel this way, but this is like a dubstep version of an early 2000's Eastern European pop song :D (thinking of something like Groove house or anything from a Russian dash cam video)
