The singer totally messed this up by actually “remembering the f’kn words! 😂
Do parents or students at this SOR ever complain how VH-heavy their live performances are b/c of the skills and/or fandom of their star guitarist? I’m thinking specifically of the vocalists who don’t get the broad repertoire other vocalists normally receive in other locations?
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy VH. They “hit” when I was 16 and like nearly everyone, I wore their debut album out.
My daughter was lead guitarist in the SOR house band in Jersey. She was heavily into grunge, alternative and blues-inspired classic rock. She could take or leave VH and my wife was never a fan. So, I do know it’s not everybody’s cup of tea. Just curious - props to this guitarist!
I give a break since you have to wear a mask. Great shit!
love the music...STILL need to roll up the vocals a bit so the gals can be heard.........
0:40~ Tapping makes it bear a close resemblance to EVH.
Please tell the lead singer is at 18?
Whats that kids name
Someone needs to teach these youngsters how to set up a backline, especially when it comes to all that loose cabling. Here are a few pointers.
1. If you're a guitar or bass player, you guitar cable should be passed between the strap and the instrument where the strap attaches to the back of the guitar. That way, if you accidentally step on the cable, you won't pull the cable from the jack in the middle of your performance.
2. All mic cables attached to cabinet mics should be wound and placed behind the cabinets or in some out-of-the-way place to prevent getting caught on feet and/or causing the mic to be moved.
3. All guitar cables that plug into the amps should be passed through the handle of top of the amp before being plugged in if the amp is a combo; or through the handle of the cabinet if the amp has a separate cabinet. This will prevent the cable from being accidentally yanked out of the amp during a performance.
4. All excess PA cabling should be neatly wound, organized and placed out of the way of the performers. This will prevent a trip and fall and prevent a performer from accidentally stepping on the cable and damaging it.
5. The mic cable for backing vocals should be wrapped around the mic stand at least 3 or 4 times to prevent the mic from being accidentally yanked from the stand. This is optional for the lead singer if they don't play an instrument while singing.
6. Messy cables that plug into different amps that lay over one another, especially in repeating loops can create an irritating buzz in the amps and/or PA. A good example of this can be heard at the 0:33 mark when they all look at each other wondering where the buzz and hum is coming from. This can be potentially dangerous because the buzz and hum can be indicative of some piece of electrical equipment not being properly grounded. Improperly grounded stage gear has been known to cause serious injuries and deaths.
Great video! Great performance! Rock on! \m/ \m/
The left woman is bearing laughter. Why?
At least it's Van Halen and not the post Malone dribbled shit. Dude jams on guitar.
Man u forgot them heartbeat clicks= Fail bro
good , but man WHY EVERYBODY KILLS THE ORIGINAL SOLO
This kid is a young player. He’s developing his technique. You wouldn’t know that because you have never developed yours. I’m sure you’ll be posting a video of you playing real soon.
P.S. learn how to use a question mark after posing a question.
Cut the gain back on the guitar ! Vocal is too low !
Get a new singer!
I love it...may all yall have success going forward. Saw VH open for Black Sabbath in 1978 with Sabbath fans who after that night became VH fans.
