I really like how each indigo matched with a blue: Galekh and Mallek - literature Amisia and Remele - art Nihkee and Elwurd - having Joey “show off” Zebruh and Ardata - being awful and not helping
I think the title of the song is a reference to “How the Other Half Lives,” a book by Jacob Riis designed to expose the awful living conditions of the lower classes in New York in the 1880s Classism is a huge theme in this homestuck universe, so it makes sense. Plus, the blood castes are definitely not a 50/50 split so calling it “the other HALF” only makes sense if it’s a reference
@@jimbotron8552 I bet even the subjugglators have their own private transport but use the train so they can dick around with the lowbloods if they get bored
I love how you hear both of their styles in this. I escipally love how instead of clashing they combind to make something much greater. like danm... shit's bussin

If they dont have a prejudice on land dwellers ;-;
Exactly i was hoping to see some seadwellers but oh well :(
I think it's because they have aerial transport instead of land. That, or they travel underwater.
@@celestialjunipers6829 I guess trains are pretty low class

@@Shamger413 Same kinda
Considering the Ceruleans' theme is "Stealing other castes themes" it's very fitting to have it be a mash of styles.
Sharing the same extended zodiac with Remele makes me very happy ',:^]

oh MY GOD--
It sounds like its inspired from Plants vs Zombies soundtrack
Yeah like PvZ 2, i get where you're coming from.
1:01 this part reminds me of plants vs zombies adventures
The beat is kind of similar to Graze the Roof
90% of this song is unused
Well, the start bit happens when you get the Ardata bad ends
that's why they said 90%
No it isn't, it plays in the cerulean/indigo car.
yeah thats why they said 90%
