- Dragon Ball Online provided us with many facts and characters that are being used in Xenoverse, FighterZ and the main series of Dragon Ball Super...but this one is the most interesting in the Dragon Ball Timeline.
But what's the point of this video? Well it's for the purpose of filling in the blanks for some people, exploring the wealth of content of the game...and honestly for people who might not be inclined to spend hours playing YET ANOTHER GAME to find out information they could find in one video...well here ya go! How did you come up with this? For example, we talk about the Red Ribbon Army and their future, Pilaf and his future as well as the female descendent of Vegeta, Trunks and Mai who actually was more like Bulma than you think. DBO was weird. What if Sho was Vegeta's great-great-great granddaughter?

It had a lot of cool stuff. Including the fact that Goku and Vegeta reached the end of their timeline... And decided to have one last clash. They went to an abandoned part of space and fought to the death, literally wiping out tons of starts and planets, and their clash was so powerful that its effects were felt decades to centuries later.
Edit: Oh, and Gohan eventually wrote the book on Ki. Literally. And Hercule did eventually come clean when it was learned how ki worked.

DragonBall Online was one of the 3 reference sources I use for a lot of Dragon Ball related ideas. Including my story ideas for Xenoverse 3 which properly introduces the TimeBreakers and other fun material.
It just occurred to me that there's not just Vegeta's daughter running around but Buu's children too, wonder if picolo has any running around these days

I have this idea for a funny story where Little Pan asks her parents where do babies come from and that she wants a sibling, Gohan and Videl manage to get out of the situation so she goes to Piccolo, Piccolo asks for some private time and manages to uh... cough up something for her. ROFLOL!

I could see the Dark Nemekians working as either a movie villain group or maybe a manga arc villain group to help develop Piccolo more. It would be very interesting to see him confront the side of his race he never knew existed and maybe as well see them as parallels to his father King Piccolo and finally escape the shadow of his "Old Man" once and for all by putting that part of his history to bed forever.

If something like that were going to happen, I would imagine it occurring right where the Garlic Jr filler arc occurred, after the Namekians had gone home, Goku and Vegeta were both off world, and Nail’s new influence being just enough to make Piccolo able to interact with Kami in a reasonably civil way.
Perhaps Piccolo tries to defuse with Nail but it goes Horribly Wrong (like it seems all attempts of Namekian defusion tend to) and instead of Nail coming out, it’s Daimao, with all of Piccolo’s power and vitality, which would make him very dangerous for that period of time.
Oh god. it literally just occurred to me how much overlap Garlic Jr and Piccolo Daimao have with one another. Like you don’t have to tweak Garlic Jr.’s backstory very much to make everything he did into just a King Piccolo story instead, especially given both character’s obsession with the demon realm and intense beef with Kami…
I think the old leader of the rr army being Android 9 makes a lot of sense. Dr. Gero learning about the destruction of the main rr base, heads over there to search through the rubble. He was mostly looking for his son, but if he did find him, he wasn’t able to find him fully in tact or recoverable.
However, it seems Gero was able to find Commamder Red. He rebuilds him into Android 9 hoping he’d have the same desire for revenge, but Gero most likely found footage of Red being betrayed, and hearing the wish in the recording. Gero decides to just put Android 9 under and makes the schematic for the switch.
Obviously all speculation, but the fact that Red became C-9 makes a lot of sense really
Plus, FighterZ revealed that Gero had more than one lab hidden across Earth. Who's to say #9 or other androids aren't hiding/waiting to be activated?

I would like to see Dragonball Online to be remade for modern consoles. I would like to learn more about who Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Goten, Trunks, Pan, Bra, Krillin, Android 18, Marron and Buu future descendants are. It’s always nice to hear that Sho Vegeta’s descendant is a scientist.
That was a misspelling. It was actually "dork Namekians", the ones who did the homework for the other Namekians.

It's lame, but better than simply ceasing to exist because Toriyama forgot them. At least this way we get an explanation as to where they went.

I’ve been making a Dragon Ball: Dungeon & Dragons adaptation for two years (currently writing its second edition) and we used Age 1000 as its primary setting. I can’t tell you the amount of obscure articles and books I’ve had to dive into to find out the lore for character like Gamelan, Chocolay, and Mr. PokoPoko. And don’t even get me started on General Sus.

One way they could bring the Dark Namekians in is to say they were the source of the drought on Namek; they used some advanced technology to create a drought and other calamities to force the rest to become as dark and twisted as they were. But they were forced off the planet by a band of heroes (possibly including the Nameless Namekian's father). This would explain why the Namekians we know have come to shun technology for the most part and possibly said tech has allowed the Dark ones to hide for all this time waiting for a chance to strike!

I've always found the dragon ball online lore very very interesting
It's such a deep well and it's only natural that it's constantly sourced from.
There's something deeply heartwarming about the idea vegetas many times great granddaughter is a scientist. The legacy of his bloodline is one of progress and innovation. Maybe not the grand warrior dynasty the vegeta may have wanted but I think he'd be proud regardless

I wish this was what bulla was. a smart scientist like bulma, but with the ego of vegeta. And she would eventually get knocked of her high hovercar and realize that there is value in training and hardwork.
I think it's more of Bulma's legacy than Vegeta'a tho.

I tried DBO global a few year back with a friend and when XenoVerse came out we used it as a base for the lore of our time patrollers, fun times
I did that with my Jane and Anya Alberts CaCs. (Anya is a saiyan hybrid)

Man I can't wait for more Namekian lore. I'm not sure if Toriyama realized how deep he made this race and they just keep getting more interesting over time. Theres so many questions about them, like where did they originally come from? Why are they spread across the multiverse? How does their clan system work? What is the extent of their magic? Is Zalama a Namekian?
You know, the Red Pants Army’s theme naming really screams a connection to Bulma given that her family also follow an underpants theme. What are the odds of this having been a revived version of the Red Ribbon Army founded by an evil descendant of the Briefs family line?
There were more Bio-Androids! On the wiki, it states that there were enemies called sandmen, failed experiments, and bio android hive workers. The cell jr plot point wasn't forgotten completely! Let's goooooooo!

Probably not naturally. From what I remember, the Saiyan bloodline was so diluted by that point that nobody could do so without using the Dragon to gain the ability.

Yes the same Octopapa from DragonBall. The Time Breakers went back in time and recruited him into the new Army after the end of the Red Ribbon saga and upgraded him with modern age cybernetics to transform Octopapa into Boiled Octo Robo who was a raid boss

Aaah DBO......bought that game literally on ebay for a few bucks after its release and it was a blast. Miss those times. DragonBall Online has soo much depth to it and the details are incredible. It was kinda hard to play it without translations, but it worked somehow.
Hearing you talk about the beast man humans in Dragonball reminds me that I stumbled across an anime, that is literally about that subject, it's called BNA (short for Brand New Animal). Don't know if you've seen it, but it's pretty interesting and it goes into detail on how the characters got their beast forms.
that descendant does look like the counterpart for mai with piella being pilaf that i could see it be her being trunks & mai's descendant in a rework.
really hope after whatever the next arc after granolah is/the end of z likely being reworked want to see more of online & heroes(just without the fanfic transformations as with how it looks similar to budokai 3 would love a game like that with the dragonball celebrating roster the cards have.:3) being added to canon like the z fighters teaching humans especially gohan & krillin,more of og dragonball being brought back(like bacterian's descendant referencing the pirate captain in the original resembling him & be funny seeing towa's reaction to sniffing the smell recruiting him.),
goku & vegeta going all out that their death creates a supernova(seriously want to see animated as outside gt's very end would be the most awesome way to see a goodbye to goku.),the red pants army,the dark namekians forming from their dark hearts/remnants of king piccolo,buu's children which xenoverse referenced & especially the time breakers who'd be a good different challenge for the series which i felt moro's introduction gave a glimpse of before becoming cell again.

One of characters for Xenoverse is based upon the concept. However on that same note Narakk is mentioned within one ofthe imtem descriptions for Namekian Armor

Yeah DBO is one those things that would've sold like gangbusters in the US had Bandai not been up their own ass with an International release (like always🙄)
I think it was more to do with it being quite a standard MMO with little unique other than Toriyama's involvement...but hey! At least he's got plenty of lore to pull from nowadays.

I still hop on Dragon Ball Online from time to time. It's a fun time. Getting my kids to start this summer since they love almost all things Dragon Ball.
There really are a lot of things I didn’t know about in Dragon Ball Online, considering I never could play it.

The title has but to say it early before I watch the video I think the connection is understandable.
Dark Namekians could also be a way to much more naturally integrate the Shadow Dragons into a story. It'd be fairly easy as well.
The Dark Namekians are the manifestations of all the evil and negative energy from the normal Namekians, so they create a set of Dark Dragon Balls that gather negative energy instead of spreading positive energy, and just like that we get Black Smoke Shenron and the Shadow Dragons.
I feel it could make for an excellent saga where the dragon team has to save not just Namek and Earth, but also fend off a full scale galaxy or universal invasion led by the Dark Namekians and their dragons.
the thing is, the best thing about the shadow dragons is that their from the regular dragon balls. Its the perfect piece of irony that ties the series together. Although, if they do introduce the dark dragon balls, I hope they do what dbs heroes did and have the balls attach themselves to the past villains of the dragon team.
That’s a horrible idea!!! The whole appeal of the Shadow Dragons was that they were consequences to the Z Fighters actions. Their constant use of the Dragon Balls spawning these monsters. Making them spawn from evil Dragon Balls makes them feel infinitely less interesting.
I believe that I've found a bit of the middle ground between both of these ideas after some brainstorming.
Instead of having the Shadow Dragons be created by the Dark Namekians, have it so they're simply released by them instead.
Let's say that due to the pure evil nature of the Dark Namekians, they cannot make Dragon Balls on their own, and have to resort to stealing and corrupting other sets by drawing out the negative energy built up inside.
Then during a battle on Earth, one of the Dark Namekians gets their hands on the Dragon Balls, which have the most negative energy built up within them due to their constant use. Then we have Black Smoke Shenron summoned and the Shadow Dragons are created from the Earth's Dragon Balls like originally shown in GT.

What If Chi-Chi Became A Saiyan? (A sorta combo of Krillin as a Saiyan and Chi-Chi as a Z-Fighter)
What If Cooler Turned Good? (Could be an interesting idea if possible)
What If Tarble Arrived in the Saiyan Saga? (AKA What If Tarble Joined the Z-Fighters? or whatever)
What If Vegeta Was Female? (The counter to What If Goku Was Female?)

I played Dragon Ball Online as a Majin for a short time. Granted I used some underhanded ways to play it and it didn’t help I couldn’t read the language it was in. Tho I figured some things out. It was fun! Now I dream of Xenoverse 3 so I may be a Majin once again for a 4th time.

Well there was an official statement when the game first came out that you could imagine any of the characters who looked similar as being related. But... There is actually another character who also works for CC that does look just like Bulma if your interested. She looks like kod bulma with glasses.

Personally, I would love to see an official relaunching of DBO, but handled as it was intended - a global release. The Dark Namekians are absolutely GNARLY, some of the Time Patrol elements (also first appearing in DBO, ironically) are conceptualized here from what I understand from visual input and attempts at insightful conjecture due to a lack of knowledge of the Korean language, and if I'm not mistaken, I think it was in DBO where we not only first meet the Supreme Kai of Time, but also learn her real name. Well, either in DBO or DB Heroes, anyways, can't recall which. But that's a shame, as her name not only makes thematic (and slightly punny) sense, but is also beautiful from a linguistic standpoint - Chronoa.
I'd love to see more elements of DBO make their way into the main games, and especially into the anime. I mean, we've now had THREE separate chronological threats, and yet not a single appearance by she who should be involved in them! Still, though... DBO needs more love. Not just in Asia, but worldwide.

i feel like dark namekians have always been in the back of peoples mind for the longest time. we really only see 1 good namekian that is capable of throwing hands other then piccolo and thats nail.... and nail gets his ass kicked and then eaten by piccolo... there are not even that many GOOD fighting namekians and yet everyone wants an evil fighting namekian even tho it has never worked out in the past

Perhaps kami had some connections to the dark Namekians...like a genetic predisposition or maybe if they are cut off from their home world or people they can become corrupted in a sense by the world around them. Like kami did but he was able to separate himself from it. If they can't separate then they evolve into these corrupted forms. I mean we still know very little about the proper Namekians like the ones who are responsible for the super dragonballs. They are much more powerful than we are let on to be. Especially since the Namekians we see in Z are ones that are the descendants of a more advanced version. And all them came from One surviving (super kami guru) member. Maybe there were many types at one point.

Well I mean Fu was originally from Online as well but only in concept art. And we all know how big of an impact he made in Xenoverse and Heroes so yeah Dark Namekians, decedents and schools of the main cast. Lots of it could still return or revamp.
I like Sho. She seems nice, if not a bit too fiercely science-minded.
You do a quest for her pretty early on and she thanks you before sending you on your way.
My favorite character in _Online,_ thought? Easily… _easily…_ Blue Korin. He wears glasses~!
(Yeah, for those who don't know, _Online_ is based exclusively on the manga and *only* the manga for copyright reasons, I imagine, _and_ Korin was blue in the manga. I don't know why he got changed, either.)
Lol. And here I thought you were referring to Bulma Leigh when you said Vegeta's female descendant. Thus far, Bulla and Bulma Leigh are the only confirmed female descendants of Vegeta that we know of unless I've missed something.

Xenoverse 2 has been known to build off of this. A lot of the stuff is purely weird when you think about it. I guess the odd thing is that TFS is technically working for the company by working in Xenoverse as VAs. So technically it's a part of Super Dragon Ball Heroes canon while simultaneously being a part of the DB Multiverse in some weird background loophole.
Given how Super Hero is fairly Piccolo focused and that Toriyama is being upfront with his likeing for Piccolo again, I feel Dark Namekians are going to be featured in Super or possibly if we move on, in Pan's story

At this point, her name is derived from Xiaolongbao dumplings, like Shu and Mai. I guess after several generations things varied.
