  • Devlog turned tutorial. Getting this vid out was very difficult. IRL hits like a truck. The sheer complexity of this video also added to it.
    Next will be an opinion vid and my plan of action on tackling the last aspect of Shivering Hearts' development before putting the new build on Steam and then starting work on the next game.

    This game honestly started out as a prototype to test things for the "actual" game in my head, called "Anua" where you explore an entire city Baldur's Gate 2 style, party based combat, branching quests etc. Something that sounds way too big a scale now that I describe it. Instead I've spent over 3 years of my life on this "prototype". But I'm honestly really glad I stuck with it, even though it wasn't exactly 100% what I originally planned to do. It helped me learn all sorts of techniques and efficiencies that would've been much harder to learn on a larger scale project.
    The end is near for Shivering Hearts. Can't wait for the next phase.
