I would just like to add that teabag rests are unexpectedly helpful 😂 It works best for the teabags without strings really. So you mash the teabag then take it out the drink and put it on the dish

I just finished the Winternight trilogy this week and I LOVED it. The bear and the Nightingale was a 5⭐️ for me and it just continued from there. I guess it is slow, but I loved being in that world so much that I went through it quickly. It’s very atmospheric and dark fairytale. It was exactly what I want in a book and each sequel was amazing. The next 2 do move faster so if you aren’t enjoying it I’d recommend continuing because they are just so good and the character development is incredible.

Coincidentally I was eyeing Sweet&Bitter Magic at Books Inc today and while the cover is absolutely gorgeous, I know the plot isn't my cup'o'tea. But loved this video! Unboxings are my favorite!!! ❤
Why are chaotic rambles so relaxing? Kind of feels friendlier😂🖤 Slow?! Winternight is my favourite series of all time and if you are into vibes, it is perfection. Not long ENOUGH in my opinion. And the biggest hit for me in those books wasn't the slavic love even though I am slavic😂 it was the absolute respect and love she has for animals🥰

I love the bear and the nightingale, but It's truely slow. Most of the first book feels like a long prologue, for the actual story, but I like the vibes It's gave. The end of the first book a little bit weird, but makes sense in all together If you read the last book too. I recommand to read it at winter :D but I warn you, the writer really dug herself into Russian folklore.

Me renewing my loan of Kingdom of Copper (City of Brass sequel) for a WHOLE ASS YEAR from the library and still not reading it lol I kept thinking this is the time!...then prioritised other books and thought ok, next renewal is the time! Rinse and repeat. I gave up and returned it last year because I accepted that it was not in fact the time at all. What is my life? haha

Read The Bear and the Nightingale and it sent me into a huge reading slump. However, I did hear that the 2nd and 3rd book are better.
