This is a great show, super rare footage, most performers would not have stopped the rhythm of the show, what Raul did was total class, and you could see he was emotionally upset, these guys are beyond first class, they are all exceptional artists, heck, the next time should this ever happen, just cut Paul loose on the punk, with his arms, he will break the jerk in half!!! Eddie and Raul playing off each others talents are a pleasure to watch, a combination unmatched in yesterdays or todays music and performances, everyone of these guys are real raw uncompromised talent, that is why we are all watching this and listening over and over again, just as if it was the first time hearing them, no gimmicks or bogus stage or sound effects, exceptional!
Loved when Raul stopped the show because some dude was beating on a woman , and got the security t9 kick the dude out on his butt , before continuing the show from right where they had stopped it , like nothing has ever happened , these guys are truly an amazing band

I saw The Mavericks in Köln / Germany many years ago..... I was standing only 2 meters away from Raul and his voice knocked me out! The original voice was much louder the it was coming out of the PA. Absolutely amazing and my all time favourite male singer!! I hope they come tio Germany again!!!!! :o)

What band can stretch this far? from Bakersfield Country, Swing, Rock & Roll, Blues, Conjunto, Latin-Cuban, cover Tom Jones, Engelbert and Orbison. These guys can literally play any genre and make it HOT and Raul probably farts in 3 octaves. Eddie Perez is frightening on the frets. One act I would not want to have to follow.

Yes, Eddie's actually very sweet. Despite his onstage swagger, he's really very soft spoken, kind and just plain sweet. I'd send Ed Friedland......now HE could scare the heck out of anyone I'll bet. But Raul got it taken care of!
Crying shame! These guy's were not too long ago an A+ band. Any new stuff that's worth mentioning? And why did you get cut? This only works about 25% of the time, and ALWAYS never helps with your career. It's all about the sound, and the talent, not the song. People are all about the rhythm, not the quality. (I wanna dance, or feel it when I'm high) Just be yourself and play that Tex-Mex blues. Thanks for all your music. KEEP IT GOING! Thanks again.
