This comment is too late for your but maybe some viewer finds this helpful: in Turkey main bus stations are usually located far from city centers. So the bus companies offer shuttle service to the city. And to find the shuttle (sometimes the shuttle waits next to the arriving bus) you need to ask from your bus operators desk at the bus station where does the "servis" depart. They call the shuttle buses "servis" (like service). :)

I also enjoy doing some bus trips when I visit new cities, and not because of the price. Did that in countryside Colombia, it was amazing: colourful buses, super friendly people, vendors offering us snacks inside the bus. Also did that in Japan; it was fun to hear the driver singing the names of the stops, very elegantly.

kind of fancy bus ride but nothing i haven't seen before, it was quiet expensive, wow ! i remember i took a flight from istanbul to izmir with pegasus and it costed me like 25 usd , just one hour flight, but anyway it was up to you guys, im following your roadtrip through turkey, it reminds me the solo trip i did through turkey too, im still in love with that country, so much memories seein your adventure, can't wait to come back´one day, greetings from mexico

I recommend you to go to ephesus, sirince(which is an old traditional village ) and cesme (alacati area) . Cesme has one of the most beautiful and unique coasts in turkey and its traditional villages are also Nice

you should go to çeşme to take a boat tour and then alaçatı which is very cute town. this two are very close to each other. and there has very famous ice cream which is made by using damla sakız. and the last thing that l recommend to you is you should go to Efes. very amazing place.
Now 95 lira is only 15.4 USD. Assuming they did not hike up the price. But I guess if the Turkish tourism surges due to cheap lira. the demand goes up, while supply stay the same, price will go up, to 350~400 lira?

Cool that place is near my house i can see the buliding at the start next to my house its a new company it seems normally another company called metro takes people to and from places but this looks way better and you get light food and drinks metro never gives such stuff and on the bus you get nothing do nice to see new stuff coming along

ı suggest you "500T" pendik-cevizlibağ.. A local and fantastic bus line in istanbul. You reach pendik to cevizlibağ the same time as you reach from istanbul to izmir but be sure you will solve the meaning of life between these 3 hours 😁 avoid sitting be stand to feel deep inside the illumination ;)

I bet when you tell the bus companies that they should add english subtitles or even better english versions of the films they would do that because thats not a big deal as its harder to find foreign film in turkish than its original version.

welcome to our city! if you need any help on anything, you can ask sbd in the comments freely:) also, download TRAFİ app on your phones, the app will show bus times and routes exact. avoid dolmuş’s if you can, local bus system is best. and do not go outside between 12.00-14.00 or u can cook an egg on your head. there is hot here nowadays. so, have a nice trip👍🏽

İzmire hoşgeldiniz josh and ashley. I highly recommend visiting mathematics village there. Nesin Mathematics Village is located 800m from Şirince Village in Selçuk/İzmir. It takes only 10 minutes to get walk to beautiful Şirince where you can taste different types of wine like strawberry, orange, basically all kinds of fruits 😊

Well there is a lot of amazing place in turkey izmir fethiye bodrum milas kusadasi. Unfortunately not lot of them speaks english or other languages. but people's in turkey are really nice peoples
I literally got lost in this coach station when I was a kid. The police searched for me and delivered to my family. I still hate that place :I I understood you when you struggled there. I guess the shuttles were downstairs from where you were, though. But I wouldn't know :)
Anyways have fun in İzmir! Have the best gevrek in Alsancak (a bakery near St. benoit high school), and boyoz of course!
