Funny isn’t it, I’d go completely opposite, duller baits in clear pits and bright sweet baits in murky waters. suppose that’s why fishing is interesting..each to there own 👍🏻
Oil is waterproof its not soluble in water...ever,sure it's thinner in the warmer months,this idea of soaking your baits in oil helps..it's just a fad thats stuck around since the 80s,all your doing is sealing your bait up until the oil eventually floats away,basically hampering your baits attractor from leaking out and doing its job,If oil isnt soluble in water how can a carp detect it in the water??...my opinion only
I’d love to go 2 carp venues a week....and last jar covered in, you guessed it CODE RED.....personally I can think of anything worse fishing with a bright hook bait like a beacon, it’s not like your feeding bright boilies
