Dominik, your playing always touches my heart. Your phrasing perfectly balances the romantic without any cloying effects and the sound of your bass is one of my favorite bass sounds.
Amazing playing....tchnically brilliant and very musical. Your incredibly skillful cadenza is truly remarkable (Kousssevitzky would have loved it, I'm sure!). I surely do. Thanks for your great work.
So young, and yet such exceptional playing from both of you. There isn't a single second I would have wanted to be played differently, and the recording quality is beyond amazing. What a beautiful and expressive piece of music as well. The intonation is perfect on every note. Words can't ever subsume the greatness of this performance.
osito1959 Castro Thanks! The maker of my bass is unknown, there is no name written in it. All I know for sure is it’s from northern Italy and about 200 years old
That glissando you do in the beginning of second recitative prats on both movements, sounds so vulgar. I wish you didn’t do glissando, because all other parts you play as perfectly as should be without any glissando.
Is it crazy if i say this is the best sounding bass i've ever heard?
Yes it is. Because Rinat...
