I absolutely will. Thanks so much Nigel.
Great video Paul and like the way your videos are heading !keep up the great work 👌👏👏👏👏
As the saying goes ‘a rolling stone gathers no moss’ looking forward to seeing your new style and journeys - all the best for 2024, Tracey
I love your vlog and video. I look forward to your vlog in 2024. I an from Myanmar of southeastern Asia. Happy new year! in 2024.
Thanks Paul 👍👍👍
Without a doubt the best bird photography channel on UA-cam, thank you so much for your service 👌🙏🏻
That is so kind. Thank you very much indeed!
I feel you man. I seriously struggle with the "If I don't get the images, then I don't have a good video" mentality. A lot of times, I just want to go out and film the whole adventure and post the video even if I don't come away with any decent images, but I usually end up being too hesitant to post it in that case. I love UA-cam so much, but sometimes the pressure of being forced to consistently create really weighs me down.
I'm looking forward to your videos in 2024, though. Happy New Year!
Hey. It's like you're in my head Brent, lol! I completely understand. I'm currently working on my first 'new style' video so let's see how it goes. I'll let you know if I lose a ton of subscribers! Ultimately we have to be satisfied as creators.. as you mentioned in your recent video. I do think we should probably show our failures more though - tough to do isn't it?
Well done Paul all sounds great for 2024 👍
I've learnt so much from you, looking forward to your work in 2024
Thank you for a year of inspiring and entertaining videos which I have very much enjoyed! Best wishes for a happy and productive 2024!

nelsa like yours as Im hoping next year to start photgraphy and its channels like your that are a great help for people like me. Im particularly interested in wildlife and birds. All the best for 2024
Sounds great Paul, all the best for 2024.
Wonderful work, love your channel and photography.
Thanks Paul. I always love watching your content. It seems 'real' compared to a lot of other stuff out there showcasing the most expensive kit and gear and promoting webspace and other stuff lol. Thank you for keeping it real for all us Joe Bloggs!
Thanks for that feedback. That's what I try to do. Hopefully I can stick to my promise of not promoting SquareSpace, lol..!
I hope you keep your sense of humour and your little amusing asides that always make me grin, in your forthcoming videos!! I love the way you present them. They are always informative, interesting and useful, and a joy to watch. Happy New Year to you and yours!
Sense of humour isn't going anywhere. Thanks so much for all your kind comments over the years
Happy new year for 2024 to Paul Miguel from Stephen
Looking forward, as ever, to seeing your new content. All the best to you and yours and a very happy and helpful 2024 my friend.
Your channel is simply more enterntaining than main stream TV :)
You're so kind!
Keep doing what you're doing - I love your videos :)
Happy New Year Paul, I'll be right here watching.
Hi Paul to be perfectly honest I just enjoy watching I don't do much photography wise these days but when I do it's purely for my enjoyment but I do enjoy watching yourself and a selct few others , I wish you well for 2024 so until then take care and stay safe my friend.
Thanks so much Clive
I really enjoy your videos and heard nothing today that would discourage me from continuing to watch your channel. I admire your photography and the videos you do. They definitely contribute to the photo community!
Hope you had a Merry Christmas, and best wishes for the New Year!
Thanks very much indeed
Nice to see how you are going to go forward next year, Have just started a channel myself and found it quite daunting at times. But watching guys like yourself, Dan Willis and Ashley of wildlife photographer, whilst I am not trying to copy I am getting inspiration. At first I thought that I had to get 'that specific' subject, relying on what I was out to get actually being there, whereas now I may have something in mind but try to be flexible - just walking about, reacting to what I come across and often stuff just pops into my head - so what starts as 'plan A' can become 'plan B with a bit of C' - So, with that in mind I wish you a great, happy new year.
That's a great way to look at it. You have to stay flexible and personally I think a lot of people will watch for the journey, not just the pictures. it's not all about the photos. I wish you all the best.
Really looking forward to next year's video content. I think you have it spot on.
I have learned so much from your channel. Cheers Paul
I've been doing Wildlife phototgraphy since 2003, i enjoy your videos and after all that time I still learn things from your stuff, keep up the good work and all the best for 2024.
Just now ran across your youtube channel and saw this video. I like the way you think and your plans going forward. Like others have mentioned, it's getting old, though no less informative, watching all the "regular" youtube channels teaching the "rules" of photography and how you're supposed to apply them. But then I ran across a couple of other channels, primarily from the UK, who do what you are doing; taking the viewer out in the field and walking through what you're doing and why as you look for the images to capture. I think it's a subtle but important difference. I've been learning more watching these other channels in the 3-4 months I ran across them than I have in years of watching the other "how to" videos. And they're more entertaining. And now I've added yours to the mix. Thanks for what you do and here's to more adventures and success in 2024.
Appreciated that. Thanks for adding me to your mix! The truth is the 'in the field' vlogs are way more rewarding and enjoyable for me. As always it's a balancing act, to get enough UA-cam revenue.. but not to sell one's soul, or become bored with what I'm doing.
Looking forward to more of your vlogs in the new year 🙂
I would definitely keep an eye on that pond and give it a visit once a month or so during dragonfly season the next 1-2 years. The species usually change as the pond establishes, so you'll have a different set of things to discover every time you see it!
Great advice - I never thought about species changing as the pond develops. Thank you!
Hi buddy ultimately you have to do UA-cam for you when you do it and enjoy it as I do just being yourself and enjoying the process shows in the finished video and that’s what matters and what I find people like, as you know I’ve watched your vids for bloomin ages and your content is always great and inspiring and I for one will look forward to seeing you evolve and how your future videos pan out 😊 I hope you had a great Christmas and you have a fantastic new year bud 😉👍 x JP
Been watching and learning a lot from you so far Paul.
Love the content and hope all goes well for 2024.
👍
I love your videos/vlogs and this is the content I am always interested in. I enjoy the adventure when i am out with my cameras too, almost as much as I love the shooting. I look forward to your vlogs in 2024. I am also from Colorado, USA and wish you a Happy New Year!
Looking forward to it Paul, all the best for 2024 👍🏻
Even as someone of a more intermediate level I enjoy your tutorials as they're often couched in simple terms with no jargon.
If I'm honest as a Wafer specialist I'd love to find someone who concentrates on that area of bird photography etc
Greetings Paul, I have been a follower of you for a while. I have enjoyed the content you have been putting into your your UA-cam videos. As one who is looking at start my own documentary type of photography. I look forward to seeing what you do and how you go about. I not sure if I every be putting it out there. But one never nows.
I think it's so much more creative. That's what I'm hoping to do anyway. I hope you find the future videos interesting
Hey Paul, Best of luck with your 2024 'Adventures'. I'll will be looking forward to seeing how you get on with your vlogs. See you out there somewhere/sometime pal. Best wishes Mal.
Many thanks Mal. We'll bump into each other. Love to see your new work.
Hi Paul. Just to say thanks for the inspiration & your tutorial help through your videos. I am retired and very new to photography, so any help is appreciated, I am now a subscriber, and recently found out I am not too far away from your location and my ambition is to photograph Kites in flight and I believe you run Kite photography workshops. Ill try to find more info but a prod in the right direction would help. Thanks Steve
Hi Steve. Thank you very much and thanks for subscribing. Yes, that's absolutely right, the location is just outside Leeds. Best to send me an email: paul@naturephotographycourses.co.uk and I can give you more details.
😀🥂
Hi Paul, happy new year i really enjoy your videos have you done a video on taking camera equipment abroad. Such as taking lenses is there a restriction on sizes.
I haven't done that. A good idea. Possibly something I can do, or maybe as a Community Post.
Hi Paul I am going Portugal and it crossed my mind if it was ok to take my 500mm. I think it would be really good on the community and really helpful. All the best Craig.
A fantastic video Paul (as always). I continue to follow your photography as one of the highlights of 2023 for me was having the opportunity to meet up with you in person and have a chat about everything wildlife photography related. 2023 has been a good year for me and hoping to do much more of the same going into 2024 including UA-cam. All the best my friend.
I really enjoyed meeting you too John. Keep going mate!
@@PaulMiguelPhotography I will indeed buddy.
Great channel Paul. Koji does not work; says it's been acquired. How to get to photo guides, please. Need to order. Thanks!
If you email me: paul@naturephotographycourses.co.uk I will advise you.
Hi, how do you like the R6 for birds/wildlife after 1 year?
I saw you also used the R7 recently, but didnt enjoy it so much
Any plans to change the r6, maybe for higher megapixels?
I am thinking of picking up the r6 used, but still a bit uncertain of it.
I have an R and an R7, I would like to replace the R at some stage.
Hi Darren. Overall I'm happy. No plans to change at moment. No, I didn't really like the R7. A used R6 is a good buy in my opinion.
what we could do with is get some of your subjects like squirrels, crows, jays etc to interview you while you are out and about, see what questions they have for you as the photographer photographing them............
think johnny morris.............
You always come up with the most sensible ideas...
Fix the guttering haha !
Bloody winds! Was just a bit of pipe... fixed now.
hi Paul are you at St adians in this video
Yes I am.
