Thank-you, they seemed a little better on the 8 mile try do some speed work tomorrow, then mike is dragging me the hills mid week 🤢, yeah it is lovely we are so lucky surrounded by beach’s
Thanks mate yeah it really is, we will keep plodding along with it she smashed this run to be fair to her, its the longest she has ever run thanks for the support its really appreciated 👍
At 8 minutes/ mile you're well on your way to a sub 2 half! Having just started running again from a pulled Achilles, be sure to listen to your body and take a break when you need to. Best of luck to you both!
@@noggin30 Thankyou for watching and the support, yeah just need to get the miles now, its new territory for beth this longer distance, ahhh no how you getting on with coming back to running?
She is still learning the long distance side of running used to be a sprinter so she is struggling with the change over, she is getting there tho, thanks for the advice tho, we will have a look at it over the next few weeks, thanks for watching 🏃🫶
Keep going girl. Don't give up.
I will keep going, motivated to smash this sub 2 thanks for the support 🫶

It's really tricky to balance keeping your training going, and keeping the niggles and injuries at bay. Best of luck with it 👍

For the shins, try the max cushion shoes like the hoka bondi 9. It really absorbs the impact when hitting the asphalt
Thankyou, will have a look at them, if it carries on i will go get my gait analysed and let you all know what they say 👍
I've signed up to the HM 🙌🙌
It might be worth Beth getting her gait analysed. Shin splints can be horrendous
What time you looking at doing it, yeah we where thinking this and looking at a shop in heswall might record it if we go 👍
@@BLMR_FITNESS Not sure yet time wise. I basically had the whole of December off so it feels like i'm starting from scratch 🙃
@@olly24cBeth has never run as far as this run, she is a complete beginner, come over and say hi if you see us there 👍
Beth needs to stop her shoulders from swinging while running, so much energy is being wasted. Not trying tp be a keyboard warrior just advise.
