On each of Ron’s Bible Story animations students listen to the Bible account and music while watching the story being illustrated in a simple, captivating way. Each fun, humorous, memorable animation lasts 3-5 minutes.
This animation speaks to the heart of the gospel, Christ's death, resurrection, and ascension. Here are some relevant verses.
3 For I (Paul) delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4),
5 But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6 He is not here, for he has risen, as he said (Matthew 28:5-6).
18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:18-20).
9 And when he (Jesus) had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. 10 And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, 11 and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.” (Acts 1:9-11)

This is a particularly antisemitic view. In 2011 the Pope said the Roman aristocracy was to blame. In addition, other scripture says Jesus died & spilled his blood willingly as a sacrifice for the sins of all people. That is we are all collectively to blame for his death. Pope Benedict writes that Jesus's death was not about punishment, but salvation. The blood he shed "does not cry out for vengeance and punishment, it brings reconciliation."

This is all Scripture based. For you to accuse Scripture of being anti-Semitic sounds like a very bigoted statement to me. Anyone who knows the body of Scripture knows that it is our sins that caused Christ’s death. My sin nature, starting with Adam and carrying through every generation is why Christ had to die. I’m to blame. The Jewish leaders are to blame. The Romans to blame and yes, you too are the reason Christ went to the cross. He wasn’t captured. He willingly went there so you might be saved. The Pope is not the authority of truth. The Holy Scriptures are. Read them for yourself and see that what I said is true. Easter is a celebration of Christ rising from the grave to give us eternal life. This is a good time for you to place your trust in the resurrected Christ if you have not done so.
