Was lovely to see you happy on new bike enjoying it... remember when I went out for first time on my first bike gpz500 after passing my test the buzz was amazing..keep up the great channel..please ride safe
Great looking bike looks like your having some fun on it. Just take it easy Dude more power than a 2000w bike it will take a bit of time to get used to it no rush especially in these damp conditions with leaves now on the roads. Stay safe and enjoy 👍
mate rest your hand on the outer end of the throttle side of the bar and use the non moving end part to temper your throttle inputs. it will make for much smoother throttle work. i bought a brand new mt09 a year ago and then did my test so im in the same boat as you. perfect first bike for grown ups. ( i kept the grom i bought for learning gears on and its still my fave bike today)!
Just got one funny because Ebikes built one that dragged me along a 30mph lol got me back into two wheels, had loads when I was younger , great bike like your paint work
Once your up to speed next year do the IAM training and you will hopefully get a series out of that, either lamb chop rides or teapotone did this previously
Nice bike reminds me of my old rd 350 ,get a few miles on her during winter and you will be sharp in the summer ,take it steady bud that’s a quick bike for a first one ..👍
Late, but that's the idea apparently old school looks and mentalness I had a Stan Steves prody tune on a LC350 I had, it was fast, it stuck on full throttle one day and I smashed into a parked car lol smashed me up to still got the plate in my arm, knees just about had it great fun
Nice, now your channel is going to have vids of you out and about on your motorcycle, great stuff. We just need Andy to stop playing with his CB radios, man-TFU and get himself a motorcycle as well. ;)
@@DudeStuff I thought he might come up with an idea like that...lol Don't fall for his evil plan where he's safe in his car while you'd be risking life and limb. PS..... on a serious note, if you're parking your motorcycle in your front garden you'll need to bolt a ground anchor into the concrete drive or wall so you can attach a thick m/c chain to, ... and buy yourself a decent wheel disc alarm, maybe even fit an alarm inside the bike as well. Luckily for me i'm able to park my motorcycle in my back garden out of sight from thieves, it's still all locked and alarmed up though, i'm in Basildon not far from you and there's plenty of bike thieves all over the place so I don't take chances.
Just looked at lings for that bike model, they have an 18 plate (4yo) going for £7449 with 4 previous owners. New ones start at £9k, so they keep their value very well. Too well IMO.
Yeah I think they do hold before pretty well. Dealers do charge a bit more but u got free delivery (45 mins away) Pair of brand new tyres and datatag all set up and installed before delivery. Wouldn't of got those bits private. Noticed an indicator badly condensated and they're gonna replace that too so not bad getting all that help
Didn't your manual say to keep it under a certain rpm for the first 500 miles? They normally say that to wear the clutch in, and for any metal shavings in the engine to come out during the first service without screwing the engine.
What a nice colour that is, not the normal colours you see around. See a few comments about scrubbing tyres with sandpaper that's a few people that have said that now 😂 don't know if it works or not but with these cold and wet roads now it may help.. What are these like for size as I'm 6ft2" and 18 stone and don't want to look small on one. Got a test ride next week on one 😁
Yes she does i think the bandit was one of the first naked bikes on the scene (naked/streetfighter style) that started this trend of bikes from the manufacturers, I love them because they look aggressive but are more comfortable to ride in a slightly upright position, awesome bikes i loved my mates red bandit was super cool
I think I've already been counter leaning for years from doing a little motocross. I'm just avoiding leaning at all until the new tyres are broken in and I'm comfortable and the bike and weather conditions.
@@DudeStuff Doesn't matter what you wear, "your a soft object". A back protector is not a bad idea. Mistake I've seen many times over the years cheaping out on jackets, trousers boots gloves. Buy quality abrasion resistant products. Defensive riding, high awareness and experience is what will keep all your limbs attached. Sorry to butt into your comment OP, it's hard not to love the thrill of a high power motorcycle.
I may well do something with them soon but right now riding this thing is so consuming i don't even notice the decals much 😂 just trying to stay alive haha
LOVE the sound of that triple! Excellent choice, love the color!

Yes man that yamaha is sweet and thanks for the quick tour of your home town I enjoyed that 👍🏾💯
Nice Kenny Roberts Paint, enjoy don't die..
Old enough here to had access to full power at 17 lol.
Beast.. crazy to think they are faster than a super car and look what u get for your money, and a affordable price (for me the average Joe)
Long awaited video. I'm familiar with that new bike experience and delivery.

Congratulations, not my choice but if your happy . It’s a good looking bike and the old Yamaha colours bring back memories.
Bloody awesome and a lovely sound 😊

Tip 4 ya , get some rough sand paper and scrub the shiney surface off the new tyars , and take it from a old biker TAKE IT FEKIN EASY M8
Totally agree. Do that
Cheers dude I may try that and I have a very health fear and respect of the dangers out there cheers 🍻
exhaust sounds amazing
Remember what Sheene said,"the throttle goes both ways"
Nice bike buddy. Just take it easy at first and go from there. You will be sound. keep up the good work.
Thanks, will do!
Once your up to speed next year do the IAM training and you will hopefully get a series out of that, either lamb chop rides or teapotone did this previously
But mainly it will keep you safe and improve your riding
I was waiting for top speed run lol, sound of bike is crazy reminds of the bike royal Jordanian UA-cam channel rides around London
A lovely bike enjoy fella😃😎
I did the same as you got MT09sp for my first big bike (I myself do have alot of motorcross stuff when i was younger mind )

Just be safe mate
Beautiful, I know I’m late but hop you got rid of monster stickers
Nice bike just like the old Rd400's wheelie machines take care dude.
Cracking, one happy chappy. But yeah take it easy. But does this mean we get future cruse clips in the future?
Yeah this was really rushed this video I'm sure the audio and riding quality will improve pretty fast once I get out again in the dry. Can't wait

He's already mentioned an airfield drag race against his 400bhp Audi tt quattro i think that needs to happen it would be epic!

It'll be a good race. It'll be tough getting the power down on that rocket!

@@R.-. it's done 3k miles
Lovely looking bike mate!! Bet you're hating that tail tidy in this wet weather 😂
I only ride it in fair weather to be honest
had the same feeling when my Energica eva arrived,

It's a 2020 plate
This video is 7 months out and I've yet to see another mt09 to be sold in this colour scheme.
Is it a Ltd version or something?

How did it turn out?
30 mph looks faster than an ebike 30mph on film top vid nice one
Sounds great
Happy new toy day boss 👍🏽
Now that is one nice sounding motorcycle and looks the dogs bollocks to boot.
Nice bike have rode one and there a nice smooth ride
What's that strange metal thing on your head? You don't need one of them.

Try and learn ya cornering and UA-cam how to counter steer in there corners good luck stay safe

Nice bike mate ❤
Nice one. 🤜👍
This is the best looking bike I've ever seen
Have h seen the 2022 MT09SP
awesome bike i have one too, did it come with a baffle in the exhaust ?
Awesome.. I don't know it doesn't sound like it does 😂
I bet you was buzzing. Well done on passing and getting such a nice bike.
Now you have to wear a helmet, a good habit that 😁
Hell yes helmet mandatory on this thing want full armour to be fair to feel safer

Haha 😂 definetely will be but can't resist getting on this thing too love it
What the fuck are tyars
Lovely bike, seen one like that before and would've loved to buy it but too small for me so I went for a tracer 900 instead, big mt09 basically
Love that bike and the sound 👌 just fook them monster decals out of it lol I rather see rape tape covering them than seeing them lol.. stay safe
