- Tropical Storm Debby continues to strengthen in the Gulf of Mexico with its outer rain bands brushing the Florida Keys on Sunday. FOX Weather Hurricane Specialist Bryan Norcross explains how Debby is consolidating ahead of its expected landfall in Florida on Monday and could be a category 1 hurricane by landfall.

@@FreeDom-k2k yes it was. Five inches total here, highest gust was 15mph. I can live with that. Edit to add, my wife corrected me, we had some 19mph winds… been here since ‘89, theres been worse.

This storm spending so much time in the Gulf stream it of course will get worse. They should teach in college to these weather people about the power of the Gulf Stream. Hemingway would write about the Gulf Stream.

This thing is going to hit the gulf and get some of that sudden "rapid intensification" IMHO. Buckle up - it doesn't have to be "category ___" to be carrying a CRAP TON of water to DUMP on pancakeland FL. Brace yourselves for the next round of insurance companies packing up and leaving.
Stochastic analysis shows this storm accelerating up to the northeast and dumping heavy rain in major population areas causing probable flooding with road closures and airport delays.
Don't get it it's just drizzling here in Tampa why are they calling it a hurricane so people go crazy buying water and gas

This meteorologist needs to always be reading or looking at something because when he is looking at the camera, he’s blinking like mad and looks like his face is having a seizure but doesn’t do that at all when he’s looking at something. You’re the one who has the man on TV but he looks crazy when he’s looking at the camera.

1993 was the last time a Hurricane hit the northern Florida Gulf coast and it caused a Tidel Wave that wiped out homes on Keaton Beach and killed people, I lived in Perry at that time. I live in Houston now and still can't get away from Hurricanes LOL
