Do is plural (do dogs exist) does is singular (does the dog exist) so I think its just cause instead of talking about morals as a variety of differnt moral values, its talking about morals as one concept.

The really worrying thing is that the words in this song are completely true and we're very possibly facing it in the coming decades (gradually at first and desperately maintained by the self serving power structures before the whole thing falls apart), but so much of the populace is completely unaware and distracted consuming mass marketed rubbish, or distracted bickering with other every day people that simple belong to a different political tribe.
