I went to Stockholm recently, I'm not over how nice, friendly and polite Swedish people are yet. They made the whole trip even better!
That jumpsuit was perfect on you! And the hair!😍💖
I find these PR trips interesting. Even if Niomi gives this product a rave on her channel (which is not a guarantee), based on the price of hair care products, would they really increase their customer base enough to justify the cost of the trip? I can't think they would.
well maria nila already have a huge customer base here in scandinavia (lots of hairdressers promote them etc etc) so i think this is more an effort to establish themselves in other countries.
But also getting the brand name out there in countries outside of scandinavia, it doesn't always have to be cost -> profit.
This PR event wouldn't have cost them more than a radio or print campaign so it's just about prioritising what to use your marketing budget on.
Yes, I guess it's about developing a small base which would then grow through word of mouth.

Sadly I found myself just skipping through this video. Those trips with all the glamour and presents and products just don't interest me. They don't give me any happiness, knowledge or peace. I am just constantly wondering what it's all for.
Videos like the one Niomi did in the woods where she just talked about taking time to herself or recipe videos are the ones I'm interested in and I feel like I can take something away from them or learn something new.
I am happy for you, Niomi, that you are able to make so many great experiences and anyone would take these opportunities if they were given to them. I just hope that someday the content of you videos will be more than that again.

I agree this is just like an ad of some product/ brand, she not even showed how that stockholm look like, just small glimpses and such video where most is in hotel room going thru some products they got or some event is boring to me and not get me to buy product , maybe if i see she use it everyday then it is more convincing
I understand you. I always have a mixed opinion about this kind of video. On one hand, I love this glamorous side that makes you dream and spend a light and pleasant moment. On the other hand, I still feel a bit sad at the end of this kind of videos where to live, to spend good time and to consume seems so easy... This makes me both envious and dubious at the same time: it is not normal to live this way of life.
May Mallow I know his is an old comment but I was just talking about this with my husband yesterday. I like that you tubers have become so influential for brands and I feel they are always so grateful and exited in these trips. I would rather a beautyblogger who is much more in touch with us as people be the PR rep or spokesperson for a company rather than some celebrity who essentially says I should by the product because some celebrity who’s better than me likes it. So I like the PR trips that they get to go to.
